Give me all the rainbows in the world, but I think Elon’s buyout and the new management practices that have followed has more or less ensure that a #DKF movement won’t happen again (at least not of the same scope that we saw in September), since critics of the movement no longer risk arbitrary suspensions for speaking out against the antics of psychotic trannies which friends in high places.
Anyone who has been on Twitter for the past five years knows that the trending topics were, and still are in a lot of places, heavily curated and artificial, and served to further the political agendas of the content moderation team. I don’t think Kiwifarms would have caught the attention of Twitter normies if there wasn’t some big internal push by Twitter’s now-gutted staff to make as many users aware of the site as possible in an attempt to shut it down with enough mob outrage and putting pressure towards online service providers.
