I think the issue is we have a ruined generation of men who have been so seperated from any positive examples of what they want that they can only mimic the things that they think would help them. Same reason a lot of new Christians seem to be former coomers. They got chewed up and spat out by the world they now hate, and tried too little too late to fix themselves. Everyone is a husk of the ideals they present because they've been through the brain-blender, but the atomized slurry coming out the other side is celebrated by Teh Left as virtuous.
