"Current year" terms that piss you off

It's Judeophobia
If it's not already been mentioned, using -phobia to mean disliking or having a prejudice against some group of people, rather than having a fear of something, is a dumb current year term. Whether it's "homophobia", "islamophobia" or "transphobia", they're all bullshit and used to shut down disagreeing with certain points of view by implying that disagreement is morally equivalent to genocide.
Anyway, although the term "Judeophobia" dates back to the 19th century, "antisemitism" came first. In fact, it seems that "Judeophobia" was invented by Leon Pinsker because some people were using "antisemitic" with a positive connotation, and he wanted something unambiguously disapproving. So I blame the Jews for inventing this meaning of -phobia.
The intended meaning of "able bodied" is not "fit", but just "not disabled", so even Chris-chan is technically "able bodied".

Not really. The term "Gallophobia" referring to antipathy toward the French goes back to at least 1803.

When I search for something controversial*, it seems news articles with that BS Current Year "persuasive tone" always crowd the top results. And "fact check" - which seems to be the soyspeak way of saying "The Narrative™ says..." - has a high chance of showing up.

*(at least on Google)

For example, here's the top 3 results on Google for "impossible whopper estrogen":
Code:
Fact check: Eating Impossible Burgers won't feminize men
https://www.usatoday.com

There's no evidence that eating Impossible Whoppers will give ...
https://www.washingtonpost.com

Impossible Whopper contains no estrogen; will not lead to ...

Well the frogs can share the blame then. Google gives me an example from 1799, just barely predating Napoleon's rise to power (see the date at the end). While looking for very old examples of "homophobia", I found that homeopaths in the 19th century used "homœophobia" as a term for criticism of homeopathy.

So, less a current year term, and more a current year trend of argument.

'Why is it bad to show gay relationships to kids when they see straight relationships all the time?'

Because, faggot, even if you ignore that the overwhelming, throbbing majority of kids have a mother and a father, even if not in the same house, it's still a simple numbers game:

Talking about sexuality, by it's very definition, necessitates talking about sex, and there's a reason most parents wait til 9-12 to have that talk. It's around the time hormones start, it's a perfectly acceptable time. And even if not, that's not your choice to make, since, god willing, you'll never have children in your grasp. That's the parents choice.

Crushes are not sexual attraction, but, I will concede that a child that has homosexual feelings will need to have that talk earlier than other kids, because they're a special case.

But that's just the point. They're not the norm. Most kids don't see Ariel kissing Eric and need to talk about sex. They just kind of shrug and accept it, since that's like mommy and daddy. But seeing faggot kiss faggot? That requires and explanation, since it's not normal. It's a new thing for them. And kids won't accept 'some boys like boys' as an answer. It's one of the longest running jokes in history, and it's boiled down to three letters: 'Why?'

Most parents I know have no issue talking to kids about homosexuality, or even trans, but that's a topic they need to be ready for, and the kid needs to be prepared for, emotionally.

It's not the same shit in the slightest, and it's just basic bitch 'Whataboutism'.

Also, while I'm here, 'Words can change their meanings' doesn't mean you get to just say whatever the fuck you want. They can change, but they change by consent of the masses. Literally changing it's meaning to it's literal antonym pisses me off, but the masses have spoken. That doesn't mean anything you say is now correct.

Agreed. And while we're on the topic of changing words and their meanings, didn't people just randomly change the meaning of retarded from "dumb" to "an offensive term for mentally disabled people"? Why do they need to try and make a slur for everything? That only makes them more suspicious because it makes it look like they need a way to insult people with mental disabilities.
"Eating good"

I don't know it just makes me viscerally angry
Eh. It's not that annoying. But an actually weird term that I don't know the origin of is "Shawty/Shotty", basically a term used primarily by African Americans to describe a hot girl. It sounds a little retarded, honestly. There's already a ton of words for hot/slutty women:
Thot
Whore
Bitch
Hoe
Slut
Babe
Baddy
etc

I’ve seen some people censor retard and faggot as “the r slur” and “the f slur”. Coincidentally, these people are retarded faggots.
Y'know the saying: "Takes one to know one". Nothin' new.
"Drip", apparently it means having swag. I fucking detest how retarded internet slang has become.
Yeah someone addressed this already, I think swag is better. I'm likely a stick in the mud here but Swag is just funnier and it's stood the test of time for a reason, we don't need a replacement.
"Rizz" is the new term for a guys "game" ie the ability to pick up women. Apparently coined by Kai Cenat who is a youtuber and twitch streamer with a laughably bad music career.

Once again Ebonics has proven to be the pathway to newspeak/Idocracy.
Oh god is that the pajeet faggot who literally invited 2 convicted psychos who beat each other into his house for clout? Of fuckin' course he's make that goofy term. He doesn't know any better, does he?

IDK, people at my high school used to use razz/razzing meaning; to chat up, chatting up. I think this has just a case of stolen homework and just changing the opening sentence.

I agree it's incredibly stupid but this one ain't new.

I don't have any ill will or thoughts against black people. But the dead stares in that clip really make me wonder why there hasn't been a larger conversation on the seeming intelligence difference between black and white Americans. Surely 300-500 years of slavery must have had some impact in how intelligent or rather rebellious traits were passed down in slave populations; especially when the USA was very eager to adopt and expand the eugenics movement post slavery.

At least for me, I've only heard the term "razzle" be used occasionally for disorienting and/or confusing someone. Razz could just as easily have been what I was hearing (its not) and it would have been just as [current year] to me.

I remember that even back in the '00s, it could be considered "bigoted" to merely question the validity of homosexuality at all.

But back then "homophobia" was associated more with the "religious right", rather than with general "wrongthink" like it is now.
