It's the wealthier, "safer" version of "go to the strip club together" except it's much less threatening for the woman and rewards her ego substantially more since she's going to hit on and pursued vs in a strip club where Nick is the target.
It's funny you say that because Nick has mentioned going to the strip club with his wife. I believe it's during Road Rages from the Dick Show.

I remember there was a story Nick's wife told about her getting a massage and "accidentally" saying yes to a "chest massage" which lead to the masseuse groping her tits.

I'm starting to wonder if the whole story is a cover for some kind of sex thing she was doing that she lied to Nick about.
That particular bit of oversharing is basically what started the whole Drexel is fucking his wife joke. PPP, Godwinson, and others had a field day with it.

And while those guys have a penchant for exaggerating everything under the sun (and sometimes outright lying), they aren't wrong in the sense that that segment of show was very hard to watch, and she did him no favors there.

nick rekieta, clueless:
>i will invite the animes in, what can go wrong
Hey now, some of us anime avis basically jumped off the Rekieta ship years ago.

Just sayin'.

Speaking of...

A year ago he was making fun of e-whores like her, now he is all 'yasss queen'! Yet we are told we are only imagining this change in him and he has always been like this. Rewatch the episode where drex and him take down that cop who was caught on onlyfans and tell me this is somehow different.
The very first time (AFAIK) he had a costhot on, it didn't go over so well. Nick had enough sense to recognize that then and didn't have her back. Or any other, I don't think. If you read @kittenpoptart's thread, it actually gives pretty good insight into Rekieta's old Weebwars audience, and "old Nick." He either shared in their views at the time (as he outwardly appeared to do), or molded his demeanor around theirs for the sake of the superberries.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but with WW dead, he evidently no longer feels the need to act that way anymore. In many respects, he's acting the polar opposite now. Whether this change signifies real Rekieta or new Rekieta is the only question worth asking here.

Masterson rubbing off on Nick in a negative fashion wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, TBH.

Definitely think there is something here. He had a lot of eyes on him, and he had to button up his image for fear of legal consequences on the case. Maybe it was more than he usually would, or he was still too small to give no fucks, but he does not have the same sort of scrutiny and motivation to be a prim and proper lawman.

Anyway, the reason Catholics and Christians generally have concepts of confession and accountability is that it's really, really easy to start justifying things to yourself once you start a slide on a particular sin. It even switches very easily to celebrating it as something everyone should do, rather than examine why there might have been a taboo against it to begin with. We're not finding his line with sexual stuff easily, and that's often the case because sex becomes an exponential high you have to climb with stranger and stranger things, as anyone who has studied porn's effects on the mind can attest. In the same way libertarianism makes the most sense within very clear political boundaries and norms, you can't have an attitude of just doing whatever you want without holding yourself accountable to other people. There are side effects to your choices that you can't know and that you don't want to know (because you'd rather keep on doing it). Only in community or communion with God can you check yourself against letting yourself settle for something that's ultimately a bad idea.
Amen. Confession is sacrament and its a shame that many see it as something hard to do, manipulative, or in anyway negative.

I've talked to fellow Catholics, especially younger ones who are hesitant to confess out of embarrassment or shame, but I can assure you the Priests have heard it all and worse before. Besides the whole point of confession is to let Jesus take your sins away, and lift you out of the shame you feel from them.

The issue of chasing the high is compounded for Nick by his newfound internet fame and notoriety. Its allowed his Ego to grow out of control and granted him infinite validation from his loyal fans and fellow internet personalities. He can afford to ignore and be done with anyone who would try to hold him accountable because he's built his own community of sycophants.

Justifying and promoting sin is a slippery slope that people tend to fall down as a result of rejecting the inherent shame they feel when they sin against God. Its most common in people who have been victims of shame based manipulation by others and thus have an unhealthy view of how shame is supposed to work. Instead of reflecting on it they reject it and ultimately pride of sin is born within them.

Additionally I would say going to a strip club, with or without your spouse, is both sinful and a sign of an unhealthy relationship. Same with consuming Porn. I could go on but I think this meme illustrates it better and funnier.

@theralph has no bottom - it all went to his gunt.
Aksually, the winner of that content is the pigroach. He did nothing wrong. It's sick, motherfuckers like Tevin who make people think he's literally the devilspawn.
Not sure Ralph was solely a product of his environment. alot of that personality would be there even if he started the game with a decent start
Neither does Nick. It ends up in his buttcheeks so when Drex tries taking that ass, it'll feel like a gunt instead.

In another world ralph never went to jail, and when the heal stream got him banned from youtube, he'd stop the show move to the UK to be with his wife, and maybe be a better person

I don't think you can say Nick was ever a "prim and proper lawman." Indeed, his hard drinking irreverence was always part of his appeal around these parts. Listening to a lawyer who doesn't put you to sleep, or isn't a PC faggot, was very novel.

What I DO think is that he was very successful with Vic because the whole affair was intentionally cast (by him and others) as a morality play between a decent but flawed Christian man and his fans, versus a bunch of degenerate screeching harpies with rainbow colored hair and low intellect. Nick was more happy to embrace the trappings of the former group at the time. It paid dividends.

With Vic largely fading into the background now, I guess he feels it's a good idea to go ahead and worship Baal...do.

Very sad, but many such cases with e-celebrities. Money and fame do weird things to people sometimes.

I think people are looking way too much into his character for these things. I have always been of the opinion that fame and money don't necessarily corrupt a person and suddenly make them hedonistic and degenerate. It is generally the case that excessive amounts of money and fame exacerbate minor character flaws. For example, someone who has a minor drinking problem would likely become a full-blown alcoholic. Or maybe someone who enjoys a bit of gambling every once and a while is likely to become a chronic gambler and lose millions.

Most people are kept in check by their financial inability to take their vices to the extremes, money doesn't create the vices, it only gives people the ability to take them to insanely high levels.

In Nick's case it's likely he had a habit of taking risque photos with his wife, which surprisingly is something a lot of couples do, especially affluent ones. I remember a buddy of mine talking about how his extremely liberal parents (both of whom were Doctors) took photos of themselves semi-naked next to an old General Lee car, confederate flag and all.

You take that relatively minor perversion and add in a discord with however many thousands of people, yeah it's gonna be a lot worse. It's surprising that a guy as smart as Nick can't notice that behavior in himself, but I suppose character flaws are most obscured to the person suffering them.

I'm a massive pisshead and I brew my own grog without spending a tonne of coin. I'm also a chronic gambler and povo as. I take my vices to the extreme because halfarsing something is what faggots do. Checkmate.

The more I think about it, and I wish I hadn't, the more I think the Balldo is the most lolcow sex toy ever. Imagine seeing a hot woman and your thought is "I wanna ram my BALLS into her ASS while my dick flaps around in the breeze!" Who does that?

Men who knows about the Balldo but doesn't have the girth to have proper sex with a woman.
How embarassing for Nick.

Maybe that's why they're swinging

I still recall the times he chastised people for swearing on his show, he had to tell the chat 'no, I am not drunk. It looks like I drink more than I do', and had a meltdown that ended up kicking someone off the stream when they used the f-slur. There were more clear lines.
