I don't know why, but Youtube will not stop recommending me Nick videos exclusively from the height of Weeb Wars in 2019. Like, before the TCPA hearing height. I feel personally attacked. I also don't know why it's actively only recommending me 3 year old videos and not more modern ones. I don't continue to really keep up with Weeb Wars because after like the first year or two I got tired of the fact that it was just one endless circle of arguing that was never going to make any real progress, so I don't think it's my other YT interactions coloring them, YT has just apparently decided 'the only good Nick was 3 years ago Nick'.

I've noticed a slight uptick also. Kinda weird. But I also get recommended shit I already watched within a week or two.

The Algorithm works in mysterious ways.

I'm subscribed to Nick, the youtube home page will only show a Nick video if it's either a short length or a live stream.

If I were to guess at some point you have clicked on one of the Weeb War era videos and Youtube's code thinks that era was most compelling to you.

Unrelated but my annoyance with YouTube is that it loves to show me videos from that cuck Not Just Bikes just because I watched one video after r/FuckCars got a thread. For some wonderful reason it avoids suggesting other lolcows content. The only true lolcow whose videos I will actively watch is Jack Scalfani to curb my appetite.

I often have to go click on Nick's YT to see what he's doing recently. Sometimes I'll get a more recent Amber Heard/Johnny video, and randomly I got a 'first appearance of Binger' video today, but for the most part it doesn't matter if I watch his recent videos or not, YT is determined I only want to see 2019 videos of him.

I don't think I've clicked on anything WW related for a long time. I know I've almost clicked on a couple of videos related to it as I thought they may have been covering some more recent Vic update, but then saw the '3 years ago' timestamp and did not. The only other WW related creator I watch sometimes is Hero Hei and I haven't watched him in months, because his content has gotten even more lazy than it used to be. I definitely engaged more with him in 2019, via 'remind me' and 'like' buttons and such, but the sudden influx of WW-era recs is new, like as of a month or two. It's somehow both a mild form of cringe and depressing.

Generally you can fix your recommendations from a lone video if you go in and delete it from your history. I regularly employ this method if I click on something I regret, or I click on something that I know is just going to pollute my whole rec page with 'man reading reddit posts in deadpan' or 'person you expect to be left-wing speaking right-wing talking points instead' type videos. Except one time which appeared to be an error where it kept re-adding videos back to my history after I deleted them it works well for me.

I remember this specifically, that he would be defensive about his drinking and insist that he only drinks quality stuff and only to enjoy the taste. It was funny to me because it's like, he's still drinking hard liquor past midnight, well into the next morning, on a week day, multiple days a week.

I generally don't care for what the fuck people do or who they fuck (or fucks their wife). The issue with a lot of these fetish shit is that for some reason people feel compelled to share it and make it a huge part of how they are perceived and that's just weird. Like if you have weird kinks or shit, keep them to the smallest possible amount of people ffs.

Having said that, I knew Lady R and Nick had bed issues. That was the big thing Nick was going through when he was saying he had personal issues. I fucking called it niggers.
