Call me late and gay, but it's absolutely true that he would sperg out at his fans constantly. When I used to watch him, it was like every fucking week there would be some mildly critical thread on his subreddit that would result in an epic fit on his part. You could set your fucking watch on his freakouts. Infact, after one such thread [which devolved into a hugbox for him later] he claimed he was completely quitting Reddit, and his girlfriend/wife went into the trenches to defend his honor. At this point that sub is so inactive that the only guess I can make is that it's been converted into a defacto hugbox where only certain people can submit new posts and anyone remotely critical gets banned.
I also stopped watching him because I got sick of his constant spergouts, his constant 'rebranding' and 'rebooting', plus his channel suffered from something that blights a lot of other channels. Some weird form of 'content lengthening' I like to call it, where the individual behind the channel loses the ability to make editorial decisions, and they end up including fucking everything instead of editing out boring/lame parts. Which results in a creator who used to make a tight 20-30 minute easily digestible video, now making videos in excess of an hour long. Him shoehorning his gay fucking politics into every video was part of it, but he's just too much of a sperg to put up with at this point.
And the people complaining on the Farms aren't the only ones who think this way, it seems, because he used to consistently get 800K-1.5M views on every video. Now he's lucky if he breaks 75K on a video with like 2.3M subscribers, that is a piss poor retention rate. As of late his most viewed recent video is one where he shills that piece of shit Saints Row reboot, and even then most of the viewers are probably only there to check out how shit it is or make fun of it.
