This isn't the original dev, he just took over the project after many years when the original dev threw his hands up and said "I'm tired of constantly maintaining this game just to undo all the roblox updates that constantly severely fuck up the fixes", though I noticed he was already on the dev's friend list before that point (I know this because I played Urban Patrol religiously for like a year or two, good fuckin times)
He had some bot accounts he used on Armored Patrol that basically killed every last modicum of fun in any server one joined. They ALWAYS used the Vec, the little 6-wheel APC that dominated the fucking meta, and of course since they're a bot, they don't have to "eyeball" shots, all they see is numbers and they think and react faster than any human, they run the perfect calculations and hit you every time and dodge your shots while the shells are still flying through the air and you can't compensate anymore. They always inevitably ended up killing everyone on the field and then spawncamping the other team, it was utter fucking cancer. Imagine being so tryhard you make half a dozen accounts and hook them up to bots to be tryhard in your absence whenever you're doing something else. He told me something like "u-uhm their aiming calculation includes a randomized bit to offset th-the target-" or some gobbledygook like that which is obviously false if you've ever played against them, maybe it "offset" their aim by one pixel at most.
After fixing up and adding a bit to his own version of Armored Patrol (with permission from wingman after he ended support for the original), he started development of AP2, which is rebuilt from the ground up. Since it's not out yet (at least last I checked which was honestly over a year ago so maybe it's out now) to play the alpha or beta or whatever stage it's on requires you to pay robux for access. It uses bots to fill in the opposing team when there aren't enough players, so in hindsight it all makes sense - he was beta testing his bots on a game that wasn't even his, at the expense of the enjoyment of every kid in any server he touched, so he could charge for access to his finished product later. Absolute scum.
Is that so? LMAO, when I got into an argument with him (he was typing through the account of one of his bots) like 3-4 years ago he revealed he was tankie as fuck, I remember asking him to name an actually successful communist state and he chose North Korea. I recall he didn't much like it when I told him "ACKSHUALLY north korea calls themselves juche now not communist :^)"
