/Pol/ died shortly before the 2016 election. QAnon killed it. Now it’s more like 90% bots, 5% incels, 4% schizos, and 1% people checking in during happenings. Someone, probably one of Trump’s people, decided it was no longer useful, so they unleashed QAnon to weaponize schizos and keep them barking up the wrong tree. It was masterful psychological warfare and a whole separate wing of the operation made sure it crossed into boomer circles on Facebook and Twitter.
I remember checking in the night of the 2016 election and the top thread was a debate about vegetarianism with over 300 replies. Third thread was debating the existence of God, and fourth was about aliens. Someone has bots flooding it with garbage 24/7. Pilpuls designed to waste the time of anyone retarded enough to argue.
I know Null isn’t a fan of political sperging but it’s easier to tell if someone is a bot here, based on join date, react score, and knowledge of lolcows.

I don’t want to post about the worst manic episode I’ve ever witnessed because it was so weird and specific that it could identify me. But it was brought on when a friend who normally had bipolar 2 (for those who don’t know, bipolar 1 is severe, while bipolar 2 is milder) changed the antidepressant she was taking. Suddenly she was doing shit as crazy as what Kanye was doing. Fortunately being manic caused her to stop taking all medications, including the offending one. When she went back on her meds, it started up again, but this time her psychiatrist caught on and told her to either start taking the previous antidepressant or stick with a mood stabilizer only.

If anyone would've killed Michael Jackson, it would've been those people and probably not political interests I think; in the case of Jackson you're talking probably billions of dollars in intellectual property returning to the companies themselves, and plus it bolsters an artist's profile to die.
They'd want these people dead rather than going crazy, because they don't want their legacy to be tarnished. That's going to badly hurt sales. If Kanye keeled over tomorrow the label's sales on his music would've already been seriously damaged by his shenanigans.
There's way too much money at stake to be willing to tank it all just to discredit someone whose opinions were never that influential.
