No, I see newly amnestied accounts every day

Examples? Many notable unbannings were posted here in the initial flurry a few weeks ago. Since then, I haven't heard of any, with the possible exception of Andrew Anglin, whose account was not apparently banned (removed) but may have been locked.

If Elon is really, truly concerned about releasing these files, he should set up a "Dead Man's Switch" sort of thing that causes them to all go out automatically if he does end up disappearing or the like - and then he should tell the world about it.

True, in theory. In practice, you have to dig through and tune out the twat noise on both sides. Most people dont know how to differentiate between real news outlets, Russian & American, left or right, and some nutter with an axe to grind and a harddrive full of questionable cheese pizza. It is a power tactic to silence speech. If you don't let them join thats discrimination if you let them join your offending them and need to tone it down. The idea of dangerous locker room talk is a threat to their continued existence and can not be allowed to continue.

This is why we can't tolerate these crybullies. They pretend to be victims to be non-threatening so we don't treat them as what they are, which is an existential threat to basic concepts like freedom of speech, without which we are not even a society.
