I've been wondering why phil never touched the Yuffie DLC, especially when the Crisis Core remake is around the corner. Now I know why.

He can't handle the plot and backstory.

The thing is, he isn't a contrarian because he genuinely thinks the game is good or bad, he's a contrarian simple because it gets him attention and feeds his ego.

Phil lives off of talking down to/belittling people, it's something his narc ego needs, and considering he isn't a successful narcissist it's the only way he can feel good for his miserable existence.

Maybe so, I just think there is a bit of validation that can be gained from being an asshole. It could be the feeling of "being better" than others, or having the "right opinion".

I suppose Phil is a bit contradictory if you think about it, he uses twitters in the hopes to gain clout(attention) but then is also afraid of the "good Samaritans" said attention will bring.

That's my favorite part about Phil. He has away some how finds a way to fuck everything up all on his own. As GTG has said " if you give the Pig enough rope he'll hang himself ".

I am just waiting for the return of the slow tips, that is when you get the Ultra Begstinct DSP.
