Thirteen? Thirteen? She looks ten years older. I'm not a huge Ted Cruz fan but clearly her parents aren't paying attention to how or what she's doing. First, being on the interent and worse, Tik Tok. Both Steve Jobs and Bill Gates either forbade or severely restricted their kid's use of technology and time online while they were growing up, that's a huuuuuuge hint to all parents. I suppose part of being a successful politician is being a narcissist but she has one other parent.
This is more of an effect of teenage girls taking the left’s shit too seriously. Happened with Kelley Conway’s daughter too where she ended up distancing herself from her mom because of the leftist media.

Taking away TikTok isn’t going to make the other girls at school lose their apps too. You have to tell your kids how that stuff doesn’t matter.

The thing is you can't let them use phones, tablets or PCs, and you have to put them in a school that isn't run by lazy tards that use tech as a substitute for teaching. That requires being significantly involved with your children, and it's clear this isn't the case here. You have to be immune to the "all the other kids have X" whining which works only if you care what all the others say about you and yours.

If you child is already using Tik Tok you've lost, sadly. This girl is chronologically thirteen but looks twenty-three in her Tik Tok vid. She's barely a teen. Something isn't right, and it's not the fault of a shitty app.

In defense of Cruz, it's a cruel as fuck game where if you ban your kids from being online, then they effectively are screwed because other parents WILL let their kids go hog wild on social media and the kids who aren't will become instant pariahs and deemed "the weirdo" and "freak" and will be shunned/turned into pariahs who become socially maladjusted due to them being shunned by their peer groups for having "the retard parents" who deny their kids online access. Which leads to among other things, your kids pretty much going to their graves hating their parents and finding any and all ways to make their parents suffer in retaliation from fucking them over in terms of making them doomed to be social misfits who can't interact with other people/have no friends, via straight up physical elder abuse once they realize they can inflict violence against their parents and do so in a way that puts such pain and terror in their parents hearts that they'll be too scared of worse violence inflicted upon them if they snitch to the cops, to straight up going tranny and worse.

IDK about that. 2022 was supposed to be the repudiation to the 2020 election where "we vote harder and all the people who now obviously regret voting for Biden come around" and that definitely didn't work out. So those people are fed up. Now add to that an economic collapse, failing infrastructure and the threat of global war, and I can see groups forming up. Community protection and whatnot.

As I mentioned beforehand, the left are cheating like crazy combined with getting desperate because of the fact that the global economy is going to crash, probably around 2029/2030 and once that happens, hell will break out as far as everything coming to a head and literal heads being put onto pikes as the masses finally rise up and start killing the elites... in minecraft.

Also, I have to think that most Democrats are thinking that Biden's "not as far gone as he appears" or most likely, WANT Biden to die so Kamala can take over.

It's going to take a full on Gotterdammerung level economic apocalypse level collapse at this point to shake shit up, it looks like. That or World War 3 with America falling via internal coup ala the Russians in World War 1. Nothing short of Gotterdammerung will change shit at this point and then you end up with the monkey's paw where you may not be one of the those who come out of Gotterdammerung alive or well off or even whole, as far as "be careful what you wish for".

The current education system and specifically teachers, whether public or private, is there to be a wedge between parents and children. The current focus is to get your children get their values and opinions from the current leftist ideology. I've heard the phrase "unnatural attachment to parents" from multiple educators recently. What they mean is that a child shouldn't look to their parents for their values, they should look to the "community". This is why they fight tooth and nail to keep from informing parents about curriculum and pronoun changes. This even starts in daycare. I know multiple parents whose daycares have moved their kids to advanced milestones (no naps, less playtime) without telling parents or even against their wishes. All of this is so that they can make your children see you as the enemy. And it's working.
When I lived in SoCal, I knew a parent who LOST CUSTODY because their 5 year old was deemed "too attached". The kid was given to the other parent, who lived in NYC (where the child had never been), had previously been uninvolved, lived with roommates, and promptly gave the child to the previously unknown grandparents, who had footed the bill for the entire legal battle. The grandparents and the judge had the same "early life" IYKWIM.

The bigger issue in the US is the fact there's a shit ton of college educated (especially the Ivy-league nepotists) in congress. PA-12's Fred Keller comes to mind an exception.
Worse than that, they're all lawyers. Taking Shakespeare's advice on how to improve society would get rid of like 40% of Congress overnight.

Now that's change I can believe in!

PA and GA picked the dumbest people to represent them. Although Georgia is better off than PA, expect Atlanta to get worse over time.
>worse
Atlanta is a disgusting city absolutely full of Ukrainian flags, BLM, fag banners, and other far-left symbolism. Something about the place felt very ominous and sinister, and I'm not talking about the very high crime rate.

On the other hand Gate's and Job's kids don't seems to have suffered from not being online as kids, but they were businessmen, not politicians so they came out ahead on that basis alone.

The dancing and mocking on Twitter is disgusting and only hardens my belief that Leftists should never be given any benefit of the doubt and should always be assumed to be malevolent toxic narcs who enjoy hurting other people.
This one gets to me (can't archive alas). Because they think they're in the moral right for saying "this is not the time go after the family." Confirming that as far as she is concerned there are times when it's totally acceptable.

fucking them over in terms of making them doomed to be social misfits who can't interact with other people/have no friends
Previous generations of teens didn't NEED Tik-Tok or what-the-fuck-ever to interact with other people. Because they actually....physically interacted with each other. If this one literally cannot function without any type of social media in their life, we're fucking doomed.

Senators don't run cities. Junior senators are barely more than reliable votes for party-sponsored bills, which both of these guys will be. Atlanta will get worse for other reasons.

Like Arizona, a bunch of Californians and liberals have moved to Georgia and bring their insane politics with them. Forsyth County, didn’t allow black people to live in the county until the late 80’s early 90’s. That county now has tons of Indians and Chinese to the point where white people are barely a majority anymore.

Terminally online people who are heavily engaged with politics are like 1%-5% of voters, tops. The Republican Party went into the midterms with no message. There are reasons for this:
  1. We're in a party civil war. The establishment wants to purge MAGA so that the dorks stay in charge. They'd rather not make big gains than for those gains to come from people they don't want in the party, or to come because they embraced any part of policies the GOP has always been against (restricting trade, putting Americans interests over those of corporation, restricting the border, not letting crossdressers groom your kids).
  2. They figured Joe Biden is so bad that they didn't have to really campaign.
  3. Under Paul Ryan, the Party's core message withered away to "tax cuts and entitlement reform." Except nobody wanted to hear that this year.
People don't come out to vote for you if you don't give them a positive reason to. A handful of Republicans in my lifetime understood that - Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich, and Ronald Reagan. The rest of them figure that "not as bad as those crazy Democrats" should be enough.

Doesn't this give the Democrats more control over committees and appointments?

Yes, but only in the Senate. I think it's great, myself. Now the Dems have to pretend to govern some more, instead of pretending that they're being blocked at every turn by those obstructionist Republicans. I mean, they're going to do so anyway, but it'll be much less convincing. The House is where the sausage is going to be made over the next two years.
who's ben sasse?

Senator from Nebraska, Never-Trumper, held up by the like of the Weekly Standard and National Review as an example of what a Republican should be. Easily steamrolled, no ability to give a stirring or rousing speech. Useless at best, has a genuine hate for Trump and disdain for both populism and winning. He's on my top ten list of stooges possibly entering the Republican primaries.

Probably the only time when homicide becomes a justifiable solution. Grandparents, judge, all of them Minecrafted in vivid fashion.

If Walker was a bad candidate, where was the well reasoned, dignified contender? PA had both a RINO and a MAGA person go up against Oz, but in GA it seemed everyone was fine with Walker. And on the surface checks Walker had the right stuff, respected college athlete, guy who made mistakes trying to fix it and be right with God, a black guy to counter the inherent racist angle Warnock would throw at him. More than anything it seemed the GOPe were fine with him because he could be a stamp for whatever they wanted, a backbench senator just filling the space for 6 years.

Everyone thought Walker would win based on his name, his decent debate where he didn't look completely like a fool, and the promise of GA GOP that they fixed the election bullshit. Walker's campaign even foolishly pushed Trump away from campaigning as McConnell's rodents moved in to run the campaign. He was supposed to be the GOP version of Fetterman, quality doesn't matter just vote red. Yet here we are, because one faggot county gets to do what they want and no one will do anything for fear of being called racist.

Trump had half his senate picks win with Budd, Schmitt (clever enough just endorsing an Eric), Vance, with everyone but the NH guy losing in very, very questionable manners. Don't forget Nevada's cameras going down overnight and magically Laxalt is now losing, AZ being a shitshow where now the Maricopa election fags have been found to have talked with Twitter about election disinfo, and it seems one county near Philadelphia is just where ridiculous amounts of ballot harvesting happens to give any dem the win.

The only real, legitimate complaint you can hammer Trump on this year is he didn't spend his money, even on his people. That's an issue he needs to address even when you factor in the boost of his rallies, I know you want to starve your enemy (McConnell) but you can look more benevolent spending the money in their place. But with how much the RNC shit the bed this year, the open hostility from McConnell to sabotage stuff, the realization so much money was funneled to Desantis who didn't need it at all in FL, there's no way this is "strike three and you're out" for Trump, that won't stick and will make the base more angry.

The GOP doesn't understand that trust is a non-renewable resource, and they've burned through most of it. Right now, the average Republican voter is angrier at the Republican Party than the Democrats. We don't expect every GOP politician to always do everything each of us wants, but we expect them to try and win elections. McConnell doesn't seem to understand that we all see him sabotaging general elections because he'd rather lose than win on anyone else's terms. Nobody has forgotten that the big guns came out for election lawsuits in Florida 2000, but that the party stood back and let Trump twist in the wind in 2020. We watched in amazement as senior Republicans in Congress in both houses rushed to microphones to praise Mueller and the obviously fake Russia witch hunt. And then you've got them refusing to handle everything from election shenanigans to human trafficking at the border to massive distribution of fentanyl in the heartland.

The problem isn't Trump; it's that Republican leadership hates Republican voters, and we hate them right back.

This is why I'm tried of conservative talking heads saying Republican candidates have to be, in Biden's words, bright, articulate, and clean. The opposition has such an information dominance that they would falsely smear a Fred Rogers-type candidate just because he has an "R" next to his name, which the NPCs will believe it. This isn't Mr. Smith Goes to Washington where humble Jimmy Stewart makes an impassioned filibuster on the Senate floor and corrupt Claude Rains sees the errors of his ways.

I may just focus on local and state elections going forward because the federal level is far gone I don't know what the everyday American can do to fight back without losing it all.

I’ll wake you up when there’s a fistfight in Congress.

I think that feeling is universally accepted as true at least on this website.

I thought the issue was McConnell not giving certain senators money and support in elections, this screwing them over so his kingdom is secure for another cycle.
