Don't want to derail but what's the consensus on Webb? I've liked her work a lot but was suspicious of how she burst onto the scene and then the background of Mint Press.

It's been claimed she's a "slow controlled leak" op but the only thing I see is her father is a wealthy corporate lawyer (and the Mint Press' shady af background).

I haven't read her Epstein stuff in awhile but it does seem possible she could be going after the "fall guys" instead of the real deal.

I am not much of a fedjacketer but op accusations toward Webb don't seem credible to me, idk the issues with MintPress you're referring to though. Having read most of Webb's Epstein series recently but not her books yet, the thrust of the essays don't focus simply on Epstein as the end of the issue he represents or anything. She details intelligence and financial connections and all that, and I've found those essays useful. She has done some genuinely pretty informative interviews about conspiracies that I just don't see being part of controlled op, especially compared to other leftist voices who are far more glowie.

Her issue in my view is just that she has the brain of a leftist even if she doesn't seem that way all the time because she didn't take the leftist COVID consensus. Trans issues are so much more relevant to the censorship/"Domestic Violent Extremism" fearmongering discussion and much less organic than this Kanye stuff yet of course she won't mention that on the show, that's even more against leftist orthodoxy than being anti MRNA.

If you're interested: Mint sort of has that in common with Webb... burst onto the scene, then immediately hiring and paying journos good money in Minnesota. Mnar Muhawesh fonded it but it was believed her father was heavily involved and it's claimed was a regular in the office.

The money angle caught everyone's attention (news company flashing big green but not running too many ads, non-transparent about funding, etc) then journalists they hired came out saying their editorial policy and staff management was just all fucked. They switched their business model soon after the criticism and attention.

It's been stated it's a CIA front and this is where Webb first emerged. Daniel Hopsicker wrote a piece Paint It Mint which apparently detailed its and Webb's intel connections but he was forced to take it down and it's been scrubbed from the internet.
