is there a sih photo that shows the back of the hand? if I can see that next to the FB photo from 10/17/14 I can compare the vein patterns. the short nail beds close to the fingertips is convincing on its own

This is deranged. There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s him - the sheer odds of stealing the profile picture off of SiH would be astronomical, especially given the fact that he used it for more than a decade across multiple accounts. Then, the extremely similar writing styles, even more than a decade later. The similar hands. Isolated details (the daughter, modest art abilities, etc) but there’s not one thing. It has to be him, though.

I wonder what he thinks of having written the story. He can’t have forgotten. He still uses the godforsaken icon. Did he continue the story in private? He said he had a friend who shared ideas with him. What if it just got too demented to post? This haunts me.

While I share everyone's enthusiasm (also mild horror when I saw this thread having lotsa new posts), I'm still erring on the side of caution. I like the whole "forensic linguistics" and comparing fingers approach and MAN is it unlikely for someone to use just that exact pfp - but then I think back to 2009, where stumbling upon some really rando bullshit on the internet, downloading the image and using it as my avatar on some niche forum isn't that weird and my mind starts doubting again. Stranger things have happened. And smurf porn is so odd and depraved, that sticking that tail on the wrong donkey would be a horrific missstep.

I have a hard time believing that he did all the SiH stuff as a trolling effort against the forum users. Just seems like too much work for too little payoff. Not to mention, there was never a 'gotcha' moment where he came clean. Then again, it's also hard to believe that the writer of an infamous smurf torture fic is a lawyer and family man from Texas. It's great finally having some answers, but goddamn it, I need more.

Yeah, whatever reason he did it, I cannot believe it was an ironic exercise. I don’t think there’s an ironic bone in this man’s body. Throughout all of his game board posts, there’s no hint of any kind of sense of humor that would allow for this. This is not the kind of guy who would troll, it was a father of 2 in his late 30s who was interested in board games. If it was him, and I am 100% sure it was, this was done because of a fetish.

His stories aren't overly goreful either. They're more push-pull stories. Nurture-hurt stories. Weak and not like regular hurtcore.

Space Harrier Brainy, don't ever feel guilty about not reading my story previously. There is only so much any of us can purview in our sparse, free time and to be quite honest I'm not much of an online story reader myself.

I am pleased though to know that you are enjoying the story thus far. The entertainment of others is my aim. I will not always succeed in this but hopefully I’ll gradually build a rapport with my readers that will allow me to improve.

Apparently the ridges perpendicular to the nailbed, most visible in the lunula (the white semicircle) are also as identifying as a fingerprint.
