She being very cautious with her thoughts about the repair. We do see the repairs fail after awhile — not just immediately after — so I guess she gets to spend her days worrying about it.
In fact, she's at constant risk of a stricture. There's some TiFs complaining about getting strictures YEARS after their surgeries. It's not very fun to realize you can't pee and have to rush to the ER so you don't mess up your bladder and kidneys. If you've been following my process, you may know my UL journey has been quite complicated. It is with great joy that I am now here to share a happy update. But first I'll do a quick recap of The Fuckening:
I had surgery in oct '21. I had a couple fistulas and a complete stricture. Due to this, I had to keep my SP until my next surgery in march '22, which was a re-route.
7 weeks ago, they hooked up my UL again. I was told I'd have a foley for 3 weeks, but of course I had complications again. Fistulas, ripped stitches, it never seemed to end. These past 7 weeks have been hard, to say the least.
Today I had another check-up and I was surprised to hear that everything healed great! The x-ray looked good and they removed the foley and sent me on my merry way.
I got in a traffic jam on the way home, so I got to try out my new upgrade in a gas station bathroom, and later on the side of the road. So far, everything is working perfectly! I was prepared for the worst but I literally didn't miss the toilet not even by a drop. It also didn't hurt at all. At the side of the road I just pulled it over my waistband and was good to go. Super convenient, honestly.
I am feeling some mixture of relief, joy, fear, and hope, all at once. I don't want to rain on my own parade, but knowing my luck I am sort of preparing for the possibility of a stricture. But I am trying not to think of it too much, because right now everything is okay.
TL;DR:After all my complications, I can finally STP!

I can't tell what's what; there's a bizarre string of tissue between what I assume is the amhole and the opening for the urethra, and although I can hear the surgeon (or whoever is doing the "exam") mentioning a "clitoris", I can't tell if there's actually a piece of mutilated glans there somewhere.
There seems to be some kind of "stones" coming out of the amhole as well. Chrystalized gunk?

There are two primary methods used in clavicle shortening, both of which are done under general anesthesia. In both procedures, your surgeon makes a 1.5-inch incision in the skin above the clavicle on both sides. Then they remove a portion of the bone, which can measure up to 2 centimeters.
What differs between procedures is the fixation method. Your surgeon may either use a metal plate and screws or an intramedullary screw instead of a plate. The main benefit of the second technique is that it calls for a smaller incision, but does require an additional puncture near the end of the clavicle. The intramedullary screw also decreases the potential need for hardware removal since all of the hardware is inside the bone and will never be palpable or visible through the skin.
