Look, I'm not a fan of Kirk Cameron either (quite the opposite), but this is still kind of eyebrow raising.

Since 2012, there's been "social media" and SJW delusion going mainstream, the circus that was "GamerGate", the "transgender" craze, TDS, media going woke and broke, the witch hunt that is "#MeToo", the grooming of children, "drag queens" reading stories to kids, "The New Normal", a surge of "simping", a surge of "peaceful protests", the promotion of pod living and bug-eating and other BS of climate change*, the Ukraine invasion, insane censorship, "supply chain issues", housing and energy shortages...
All that in just 10 years.

It's very tiring and unpleasant to be the social hall monitor, as so many progtards like to do. Joyless and cheerless and nobody really likes you much. Even among your peers and similar-thinking people, you're always watching each other for weakness. It's a very communist-state mentality, which is kind of unsurprising.
So (and this is me speculating some more), they believe everyone else should be doing the same. Which means everyone should be miserable. Because the struggle, the 'battle against hate' is so much more important. Fuck your happiness, or your kid's happiness.
