I don't blackpill, but the one thing to take away not just from the election but the Twitter Files is that even with all this bullshit they have pulled, at best they are 50-50 in this country. Which means there has largely been a greater support for Trump policies than show, and all the GOP needs to do is just get a ballot harvesting system that is 20-25% as good as the democrats and you can rapidly fix things in these shithole states.

Even if Ronna Romney remains in charge, that is such a small amount of harvesting to be done by an outside MAGA group it can be done. It's just a matter now of making sure the faggots in the senate don't sell us out on everything because people are now going to take a tear it down approach to the representatives and the party.

What I'm interested in is how the GOPe were so set to put an end to Trump this month. Shit up his candidates, pull their funding, do nothing but fundraise off his name, yet Musk comes in and drops all this stuff showing Trump was right, and how they were throttling before the election and pretty much pushed people back to him.

You would almost think that the GOP could ultimately be more successful by trying to appeal to their voters and secure our ballots rather than trying to fuck us over so Raytheon can dump more national wealth into shithole countries.

I'll eat plenty of humble crow pie and say boy did my predictions fail. My only defense is that my education and experience is in a world much less technicolor and with far fewer honking noses.

Personally hope Gehenna still posts. Even in Clownworld there's still value in knowing what someone in the political trenches makes of a happening or situation. May not be as (ideally) on the money as it once was, but it never hurts having more information. Or having another incorrect prediction for us to all commiserate over.

Turning the other cheek is fine.

You have to remember that the reason a person turned the other cheek was to make the other person look like an asshole. There's also some explanation that involved how if you did that they would have to slap you in such a way that they saw you as a social equal and so on, but I'm not sure how much I buy that.

Meaning that, in the time of the New Testament, society was more reasonable than it is now, because people had shame back then.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, Sinema going (technically) independent may mean that the fraud machine in Arizona is finally going to be taken apart.

:Edit: Another thing all of us should keep in mind is that we all were caught rather flat-footed by the GOPE's willingness to shoot itself in the foot in order to keep MAGA or otherwise populist conservative candidates from being elected. People like McConnell need to go in order for the Republicans to accurately and effectively represent their constituents and their interests.

Don't sweat it, join the side of the perpetually cynical, it has become a survival tool in clown world. I have learned to always expect the worst and then expect it to even get worse from there when dealing with the current situation.

You really can't blame McConnell for, say, Walker.

The reality is that the GOP, including Trump, are running some candidates based on identity politics. The problem is that identity politics only work for Democrats, hence the Walker disaster.

The albatross around the neck of anyone to the right of Stalin (and I don't mean our dear helicopter-loving forums uncle) is a foolish belief in fairness or the reasonableness of much of the urban or suburban populace.

I'm going back to NPA and voting libertarian/independent after the GOP primary. I'll cast for Trump in it but at this point I don't put it past the GOP to somehow rig it.

No I don't know how they'd do it and I don't particularly care as it's not outside of the realm of hypothetical scenarios in clownworld regardless of feasibility. If someone told me in 2018 that the 2020 presidential election would be stolen by the DNC for Biden I'd have laughed in their face.
