"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Maybe I'm just very autistic when it comes to finance stuff, but I've never really noticed a distinction in how men and women handle finances, both in most cases handle it poorly.

Isn't there a whole genre of anime about that topic though? I haven't watched it but supposedly Welcome to NHK is all about some NEET/Hikikomori being reformed into a human.
Welcome to the NHK does a much better job critiquing the neet lifestyle. The message of the show is to stop watching anime so it’s objectively the best anime ever.

There are a few Mangas/anime about being a NEET but tomoko isn't a NEET, since she's under 18 and actually in education (the manga has since lost its appeal and became a yuri harem show but that not this or that). But beats shows about office work where they portray it as all happy and full of wacky romantic situation. Who'd like that?

Watamote is a brutal introspection of Japanese NEET culture which is why it was a commercial failure in Japan.
Is it though?

The author's other works and his comments on the series seem to point that he is that much of a werido creep.

One of the scenes from another manga he wrote Choku:
  • Black Comedy Rape/Attempted Rape: Serika ends up in a fit of lust at one point and forces herself on Nao after thinking that he wanted them to have their first time. Nao fails to fight back, but his cute expression causes Serika to have a nosebleed so bad that she passes out from it before anything could happen and thinks the whole experience was a dream.
It seems as if even normie Japs don't want to see some autistic teen have an internal monologue about wanting to be raped inside a train.

Yeah, that's the idea of it. The author made it while he was NEETing it up in the hopes that it'd help motivate him into getting his life back on track. It didn't work.

Is it a genre, tho? I can only think of those two. Everything else that I've heard of that deals with the hikikomori stuff does so only passingly (like Mob Psycho 100 having a couple characters like that), not as the main topic, or is wish fulfillment isekai trash where the subhuman thrives in another world.
I feel like there's one I watched but can't remember the name of that was similar to the two, but on the topic of Isekai the shitty ones tend to glorify the l33t gaming skills of the NEET but the more popular ones tend to be about a second chance and not wasting it. Think about something like Re:Zero where the guy isn't some super soldier and there's a part of the show about overcoming the whole hiki thing in a past life as a result of trauma.

I didn't even know it was still going, figured they'd end it ages ago as the premise is kind of limited. What kind of loser watches slice of life office anime? Couldn't be me.

Didn't he also admitted on national television that his favorite scene from Evangelion was the one where the main guy jerks off in front of his friend while she's in a comma?

All of these guys are fucking weird. The mangaka for Girls Last Tour made a Tweet or something about how his iPad reacts when he cooms on the screen.

Jesus. Weirdest thing Oda (One piece) does is married a cosplayer that dressed up as his main female lead. And his wife is also good friends with one of the voice actors for one of the guys

@Null I remember you talking about using ai for stream thumbnails but it seems like you have yet to utilize it. Any chance of seeing ai generated thumbnails in 2023?
