You could cover MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying) in Canada. MAID is the newspeak term for euthanasia. There have been a lot of stories about it recently. An employee working for Veterans Affairs Canada suggested MAID to at least 4 veterans unprompted. A Paralympian veteran claimed that she was offered MAID while trying to get a wheelchair ramp. The RCMP are investigating the Veteran Affairs employee for potential charges.

In a lot of countries, it is illegal to bring up MAID unprompted. But in Canada, the current guidance is for doctors is to bring it up with patients first before they ask about it.

MAID for people whose sole medical condition is mental illness is set to become legal in Canada in March 2023.

Perhaps the weirdest story regarding MAID is the short film/advertisement made by Quebec fashion retailer Simons that seemingly tries to make MAID seem beautiful. Simons removed the ad from their website, and refuses to answer any questions about it because (according to their spokesman) they are focused on the "holiday sprint". The woman featured in the ad apparently didn't really want to die, but only chose MAID because the BC health care system wasn't able to provide appropriate palliative care.

So does that mean in 2023 it will no longer be hate speech in Canada to tell a person of gender to kill themselves?

A back of an envelope calculation confirms my theory that there is insufficient oxygen to fuel the kind of fire that would be required to not only utterly consume Yaniv, were he to spontaneously burst into flames, but also excise all future mention of him. Parts of Yaniv may very well be on fire as I write this, however even fire has limits in terms of its appetite and what it is prepared to touch.

My prediction for Yaniv, given the growing zeal in Canada for euthanising the mildly disabled, is that he continues to fraudulently absorb new co-morbidities like a fleshy katamari, while also mining any associated monetary benefits, until a point is reached where he is offered a government-assisted death. Sadly he will turn this down as an option and will probably sue, especially if the person who made him the offer is a racial minority. I suspect that, if Yaniv's mother or aunt are offered a similar option, he will be all for it.

Piggybacking on Null's other predictions, I believe that his chance discovery that anime, along with its even more perverted offshoots, is a font of rare cancers (exceeding even the different types of Pokémon in number) will result in a nomination for the Nobel Prize for Medicine.

Ralph will die - his tendency to antagonise people who possess the wherewithal to do him harm, coupled with his present location in Mexico, and his status as a dwarf planet, all point towards an early exit. After he dies, the local drug cartel will discover that smoking his body produces elevated levels of aggression, coupled with a belief that you are 'winning' and that your success is all a part of God's plan. Months after whatever remains of Ralphs carcass has been dynamited by the Mexican army, synthesised versions a new drug called 'Ralph' will be crossing the border into the US, in boxes labelled 'leaf blower parts'. By the end of 2023, you wont be able to go online without encountering an article listing the five signs that your teenager may be taking Ralph. The first sign will be 'Has your teenager developed a bifurcated gunt.'

In common with a great many street drugs, Ralph will seed its own musical genre, which I imagine will be faux southern rock fused with a rap element, so essentially Nu-Metal II, only shitter and with more associated incidences of date rape.

Should Boogie survive to the end of 2023, he will continue to be fat and obnoxious.

I mean if he was going to watch anything, Vivy would probably the series. It's pretty much I, Robot (his favorite movie) but expanded out to 6 hours to look at some of the ideas in more depth. No real weird "for teh anime" stuff, the animation just happens to be the medium for the story. Not pressuring him or anything, just if he was going to give something a chance, I'd say the first two episodes of that show would tell him if he would tolerate it or not.
