Dear god that coat. What abysmal, ash*-and-filler laden shit are they feeding the dog? To be fair he's groomed and a healthy weight, but they really need to spend more money on decent dog food because he's malnourished (not underfed). (*Cheap dog food often has animal cremains mixed into it, for those who didn't know. It has a bit of protein, and also all of the drugs that were potentially used to treat the dying animals before they passed. Unsurprisingly it's not healthy, for all that pretty much *all* dog food is made from things that are human-food waste, by definition. That's not an issue if it's decent quality. This isn't.)

The usual treatment for sciatica is losing weight, strengthening the back, and in general, moving around... oh dear. Poor J. Who could have seen this coming?

Sciatica is torture; I've known a couple of people for whom suffering with it was the last straw that motivated them to lose weight and improve their overall fitness.

Juliana, however, is absolutely dedicated to remaining as fat as she is, and will change absolutely nothing, while blaming "fatphobic" health care providers for not doing enough for her.

And that's a really bad thing, because any factor that discourages her from getting up and moving just gets her that much closer to immobility, that much faster. Going to PT once or twice a week isn't going to do jack shit if all she does is sit on her ass when she's at home, avoiding any unnecessary movement because it hurts too much.

She didn't need to fall, or suffer any sort of traumatic injury; her own fatness, in itself, has been enough to injure her, and in a way that won't be healed until she accepts that her fatness is the issue—which means never.

That she's only 30 never ceases to amaze me.

She's virtually My 600 Pound Life bedbound level at this point. She has next to no mobility, can't shower without pain or assistance, etc. While losing weight would help with her "sciatica," the worst damage is already done. The best she can do is damage control.

Dr Now has mentioned before how deathfats Juliana's size are addicted to painkillers because they pop them like candy. Think about how bad you feel after gaining even five pounds. Now imagine that literally 100 fold. Juliana is in pain all the time. I don't doubt it. Only instead of actually doing something about it she's just stuffing her raccoon patched face with yet another painkiller medication.

I feel so bad for Saul. Both of his owners are nearly totally bedbound between their fat and getting hurt from falling on their asses. He requires so much exercise that it's a miracle he hasn't destroyed the place trying to expend built up energy yet.

I'm not a fatass and I get sciatica from time and time. It's awful, and it takes forever to go away when you're having a flare. I know how I feel with it, I couldn't imagine being hundreds of pounds overweight with it. It must be absolute misery, but she did this to herself, so there's your bed, sleep in it.
