Nobody could have predicted that a rapper would simp for Hilter, drag queens would be considered children's entertainment or that a country would trade in an international arms dealer for a female basketball player.I think I have simply had to come to terms with the fact I live in clown world. In a career I could once predict things based on logic and reason, now instead these things are run by insanity and fraud. Wisconsin went exactly as expected, but we heavily cracked down on both. Everywhere else seems to be run by evil or incompetence. Or incompetent evil.
Arizona
Pennsylvania
Georgia now too.
Places where once you could accurately predict things, citing easily the examples and reasons for their actions now just... basically follow no rules. I'll eat plenty of humble crow pie and say boy did my predictions fail. My only defense is that my education and experience is in a world much less technicolor and with far fewer honking noses.
Anything can happen in Clown World. Absolutely anything.Nobody could have predicted that a rapper would simp for Hilter, drag queens would be considered children's entertainment or that a country would trade in an international arms dealer for a female basketball player.
Nothing should surprise you anymore.
Except a Hillary Clinton presidency. That's bullshit.Anything can happen in Clown World. Absolutely anything.
I think we're far from clown world these days. Clown world was funny and often hilarious this is something far worse. You still have great analysis skills based on practicality, it's just the realist view and analytical view are no longer the same even though often categorized as similar. The rules are there it's just you either see how the world works now and understand the pipeline of actions and directions/changes or you don't. Just be glad you don't. Not to get to preachy or poetic, but what this world tries men's souls with it's insanity and "evil." that occurs nowadays.I think I have simply had to come to terms with the fact I live in clown world. Survival tool? Dawg ive been taking droplets of blackpill too but thats terminal cynicism right thereDon't sweat it, join the side of the perpetually cynical, it has become a survival tool in clown world. I have learned to always expect the worst and then expect it to even get worse from there when dealing with the current situation.
I stand by it. In clown world, if you perpetually expect your adversaries to do the absolute worst and expect all systems of recompense to fail, at least you're not surprised and know better than to trust them.Survival tool? The thing that drives me fucking nuts about it all is that a lot of tech jobs around here do exactly this. You have knowledge for a field that is ever growing yet pay someone not much more than some kid who flips burgers at McDonalds. Fuck off. Not only that, but just getting in you have to have this laundry list of prior experience that most people in the industry or just starting out do not have. I am not even talking about "Associate's or Bachelor's degree minimum", but " Minimum: 5+ years datacenter experience with a bachelor's degree, also (insert laundry list of certifications that are expensive to take the test for that you have to pay to retake and takes time to study for. Splash in some SQL/Python experience). 20 to 25 an hour. Keep in mind that a lot of these are within the city, so the cost of living is much worse. The bigger ones do not hesitate to hire people outside of the country and wonder why nobody within the country are working there. And EVEN if you get an entry level position, moving up within a company is a bitch since you need to know people in order to actually score anything better.I'm seeing numerous articles in the last year about businesses starting to panic about the "labor shortage", many of them still proudly flying the Fag Flag, sponsoring Klanned Barrenhood, or hiring "entry-level" jobs that require at least $40k worth in college education and still paying 15-20 an hour with nonexistent benefits.
You gotta love that none of these pointy-haired waste of oxygen are capable of realizing how they are drastically reducing the number of future employees by every possible angle.
My priest at my home state put it best. You turn your cheek on petty bullshit that doesn't really matter like someone just being a dickhead, but you don't just let them walk all over you.Turning the other cheek is fine.
You have to remember that the reason a person turned the other cheek was to make the other person look like an asshole. There's also some explanation that involved how if you did that they would have to slap you in such a way that they saw you as a social equal and so on, but I'm not sure how much I buy that.
Possible that Sinema going indie is payment to McConnel for stabbing all the AmFirst candidates in the back? So long as the balance of power is maintained, neither side actually has to do anything to help the citizenry (yuck) and win votes on merit.View attachment 4035195
This really doesn't do anything since she'll still vote for the democrats, at best it keeps the committee assignments the same amount.
Out and proud perverts are like people who weigh 500 lbs. They may have a redeeming quality or two, but their primary character defect (total absence of discipline) will make them unsuitable for any good purpose.I feel a little betrayed and disgusted that I even attempted to defend this guy. Started to get the feeling the most retarded people in civilization is in fact the ones who have degrees. My running theory is, they have enough capacity to retain information for a short amount of time and lose the ability to think critically doing so. Least, that's what I felt both times I dropped College...or was it four times dropped? Unsure.
You read that on a fortune cookie, didn't you."When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro!"
- Hunter S. Thomson
When the world changes and becomes strange, those who were previously outside the standards of normality will have an opportunity to become successful.

To put a spin on the chinese wisdom above, in outlandish times outlandish circumstances can't be written off as impossible.I think we're far from clown world these days. I think most of us who "got it right" wish we hadn't, because this world has practically become a race to the bottom, and hardly any view of anyone or any group trying to reach the top at this point.
More like a Noctor, along with the dancing nurses in empty hallways of the same hospitals putting out OMGPANIC messages about how you must get your clot shot yesterday if not sooner.DOCTOR Jill coming in with the DOCTORLY advice for the holidays, BTW, did I mention she's a DOCTOR?!
Before anyone gets too excited - While a Q of greater than 1 (Q Being Energy in to Energy Out) is a great breakthrough and would silence the big question of whether the tech can ever work, a Q of 20 is the number thats usually looked at as "Economically Viable" last I was deep in the topic.
At least she says what she believes.Whatever you say, Marge.

I get his sentiment but the reason we have Mitch is exactly because republicans weren't allowed to fail based on their own merits. Walker winning the senate wouldn't mean deadlock with the gang of 12 always voting for the democrats.
