Finally nearing the end of the VOD (why the fuck do I do this to myself) and I actually do have to agree with Synth on one thing - the music in these modern AAA games really is the most generic shit out there. And MauLer thinks he's scoring a gotcha by then blasting the OST, with the rest of the panel creaming themselves over it.
Like, fuck man, please broaden your musical horizons, this shit is like what an AI would generate from a prompt. It sounds like that royalty-free "epic orchestral music" I get recommended on Youtube all the time. Even the original God of War OSTs absolutely smash it.

I was expecting someone to call out how generic the music he was showing was, but no, they kept sucking Mauler's dick, he really thought he had a gotcha by showing the most generic unmemorable orchestra music around, the older gow games soundtrack had way more melody to them, way more texture and the sound fit the games way better

People aren't really siding with Synthetic Man beyond agreeing that not wasting time to respond to MauLer is the right choice and the New God Of War game is more streamlined than most children's games are. As you said, it's one lolcow against another. But the thing with MauLer's end is how many of his own standards he violated because he didn't think the subject matter was worthy of them shows that he doesn't have standards, just rules. No one really has said anything about Zero beyond posting the tweet. Personally, I don't know or care one way or another. I'm not really defending Synthetic Man. Tbh. I thought his videos weren't that great, which I think just highlights how pathetic the Efap response was.

There was a lot they could've actually sunk their fangs into but instead they went for absolutely retarded points. You have to wonder how much of that is them targetting some "less intelectual" audience and how much of it is them just being unable to critique content properly anymore.

With the Norse myths the lore masters of old made it very clear that the Norse people and their gods are white. Some as fair as pearls and others as white as the first snow. You dont even have to go that far, you can just point out the obvious fact that ITS A VIDEO GAME you dont need actors you need VOICE actors. That to me is what made me sour on Mauler. For years Mauler, Rags and the rest of the furry fucks have gone after large YouTubers who attack smaller YouTubers and now they just did that with Synthetic Man. Synthetic Man only has a sub count of 90k. You didn't see Mauler and his degenerates attack others like Under the Mayo or Dartigan who also have the same criticism as Synthetic Man with God of Soy and that is because Mayo and Dartigan have a large subscriber count in the 100-300k. They literally are doing the same thing they derided other large channels for doing. Utter hypocrisy.

A lot of attention focused on a single relatively small channel that they haven't had any interaction with, and who hasn't responded to them (who is simultaneously desperate for their attention and trying to grift off of them somehow?). I hadn't heard of synthetic man before, just watched a few of his recent videos and he seems completely normal/average for an internet sperg outside of the heavily censored side of internet discussions. The thrust of the criticism from the tone of the EFAP and their fans in the comments seems to be that he is a horrible person, literally evil, worse than Hassan Piker the previous most horrible person they've ever covered.

Tried to mine a few of the cringier comments. I wasn't able to find the timestamp in the video, but some comments also mention Mauler getting particularly angry when SM disparagingly called something reddit.

Others have already mentioned the hypocrisy of acting so outraged at some of the spicy jokes and takes when the EFAP crew themselves loved calling their critics faggots, subhumans, telling them to kill themselves, etc. in the earlier days of their streams.
