1 Person, 2 Cops shot dead in Queensland, Australia - 3 Offenders shot dead by police

She's a strange one. Early reports say 3 shooters, one was reported as a missing person. Was his brothers property, the brother and his wife reported as other shooters.

The guy reported missing was allegedly a principal and a teacher at different schools and the brother's wife was also a teacher. The missing guys previous criminal history only involved 2 traffic incidents.

Mind you, this is early media reports. They are usually wrong on most things.

/pol/ has an aus/pol/ thread up, but take any info there with the usual grains of salt.

The missing guy and his brother are identified as abo/Torres straight Islanders. But they are pretty fucking pale.

Expect very little info from "official" sources. They sent the kill team in and wiped all 3 out.

Place where it happened has population of around 100. Mostly sheds, caravans and shanties.

The neighbor got shot in the back and died, not sure if it was the perps or the cops. Doubt they'll tell us who plugged him.

It's all dirt and scrub and gas fields out there. Not sure what the fuck this is all about. Meth lab? Meth heads losing it? False flag for more nanny state shit? Corrupt cops not getting their cut? Fucking aliens?

Don't want this one getting memory holed, because it's a bit out of the normal for a QLD siege

Story is:
Bloke was a principal in Walgett. Had a heart attack in August last year. Went walkabout up to his brother's in QLD. Stopped talking to the rest of his family in October this year. They contact the cops, call him a missing person.

Only now the media are saying he's a known "online conspiracy theorist". So 1) why TF would the family send cops after someone who fucking hated them, and 2) Why were the brothers prepared for the cops (were wearing camo and completely ambushed them). Something still doesn't add up.

Stacey Train, the wife of the bro, was 'Head of Curriculum' at Tara Shire State School after some reading - they wiped her from the site:

Here's a copy from when she's listed... She wasn't in there in Octobers ones though. She was there in March too, but it wasn't re-archived between March-October... She was removed some time between then.

Some sites will also notify services when a page is changed, possibly she was removed early October it was re-archived around then because of the change?

Maybe she was fired? And this is some kind of retaliation against the state? Possibly because of her husbands comments online? Idk seems plausible lol

@stakenifes what comments did the husband make? All the news I find is useless
Mostly about NSW's education system failing remote and disadvantaged schools. During his tenure as principal, he was implementing some reforms for the school, and was rather displeased that his work wasn't continued after he left, and so made his voice known.

He frequently wrote to the education department and even to senators begging for more support for the schools. The letters to the education department described as being increasingly erratic as time went on.

Thanks, just seen a few. NAPLAN testing, education ministers not doing their job. Teachers fudging scores to ensure more funding?. He sent 16 emails within 2 weeks about his disagreement with the system.

Gotta say, the earlier stuff made a lot of sense. Most schools being daycares and not actual educational facilities.

Maybe I read the wrong emails. But yeah, so fucking hungry for more info. Don't want this getting swept aside before it starts making sense (hahaha).

Dunno. I don't endorse anyone in this situation, it's just a really weird one for the area. I'm used to cults and methlabs in qld events

Being the boomer that he was, Gareth Train posted comments on this site in his own name. Of course the site owner has deleted all his comments, but there's these things called archives...

“If you are a conservative, anti-vaxx, freedom lover, protester, common law, conspiracy talker, alternative news, independent critical thinker, truther, Christian, patriot etc etc expect a visit from these hammers"

This was the only published quote of Gareth Train's that got a hit on a search engine.

I couldn't find the original posts for any of the other published quotes. At least Microsoft's jannies are upfront about cleaning up the data.

No doubt there's plenty more hilarity where that came from here (unless archive.org cucks to the Australian authorities) and here.

Doesn't Australia have incredibly strict gun control?
No, it's very easy to get a license if you live out in the country. It's only 'incredibly strict' if you're trying to get self-loading rifles or shotguns, which are generally only licensed to the professional shooters who undertake mass wildlife cullings.

Train, who identified as Aboriginal, came to NSW in mid-2020, flush with success from his previous jobs in north Queensland. His recruitment was a coup for NSW Education; the department has struggled to find people willing to work in Walgett, where the incidence of violence is high and results are low.

As the principal of Innisfail East, south of Cairns, Train gained plaudits for improving the school’s results to the point where it was among a handful of disadvantaged schools in Australia to score above the national average in reading, writing and numeracy.

Aussie wignats btfo. Always was, always will be Indigenous land.

But other people in the town did not like him and felt he was too strict. “He went in hard, setting rules and telling [the children that] hot chips and pies are not school food,” said one teacher.
How is this 'too strict' lol

This may trigger the gun-spergs here...

They can be as triggered as they want that we don't sell assault rifles at the local Walmart, but getting a gun license in Australia is still less difficult than getting a driver's license so I don't really understand what all the fuss is about.

Three people died.
If they were sadistic Melbourne riot cops, I'd understand, but they were rural Queensland police constables just trying to help a lost and disturbed man. NACAB.
You send a message to all of them by killing any of them.

Don't leave your bug hives coppers. You're gonna end up executed in the bush. Do you know the Night Rider?!
