She’s changed her name from ‘Young Dumb Honey Bun’ to ‘Ydhb’….for reasons best known to herself. She’s deleted a ton of views and is clearly trying to move away from Fat Bitch content to some sort of ‘Anti-woke political commentary’.
This last move could potentially be based, but she’s new to the style and her delivery is clunky and comes across (even to a person of ‘anti-woke’ persuasion) as blinkered and biased. She’s covered topics like the Canadian teacher with the massive fake boobs and Disney‘s latest gay film flop.
I can’t say I don’t agree with a lot of what she says, but her problem is that she knows her audience consists largely of young, woke studenty types and she’s apologetic about all her more conservative opinions. Shes lost herself a good number of subscribers, too, simply because of her sub demographics. The video she made about the weirder pronouns and ‘other kin’ type identities lost her a lot of support.
She isn’t really pleasing anybody with this content. She speaks a lot of sense, but with the Pronoun Brigade, you won’t please them unless you agree 100% and she’s too careful and apologetic to be actually based. Still, I watch with interest.
There is a niche for snappy anti-woke content and there are some large channels. They have support and get reasonable views, but you need to go all in, be harsh, brutal and never try to appease the lefties. Sara is trying to please both sides and it doesn’t work.
