A) Chris worked because he existed in a more innocent and very different era of the internet and B) even if that wasn't true, Cyrax is not going to be the next Chris, because he's less childishly autistic than he is just very very unintelligent and trashy.

For example, Cyrax may suck at guitar, but he at least understands that guitar hero isn't the same as playing real guitar. He has a faint understanding of how the world is supposed to work and doesn't have a very active imagination.

Problem is a lot of Chris followers are kind of dumb and autistic themselves (which is why they were drawn to him to begin with), so they can't recognize the specific traits that made Chris an interesting subject. They just think he was stupid.

He fucked with Chris, he refused to elaborate further and left. These were the days when "cow tipping" wasn't exactly an established rule yet since his drama with Chris predated the farms. If this really is Liquid, I can't see any scenario where he doesn't ruin his own legacy. Hope i'm wrong though.

My theory is that this was planned before the merge. Originally he wanted to get Solid’s attention. That’s not possible now that Solid is incarcerated. Cyraxx is the next best option because he is predictable, easily angered, and has much in common with Ian Brandon Anderson in general.

As for why? I don’t have a fucking clue what his endgame is, but I don’t think it involves Cyraxx. I think Chance is just a pawn.
