General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I stressed months ago that Yugo was a problem hire and you all didn't listen.

Now for the rrat. Yugo has previously gone on record for being quite into the party lifestyle scene. Makes sense too, considering the free spirit / rock star lifestyle they led. Getting drunk is whatever, as seen time and again with livers using it as a crutch gimmick. I think it was a harder substance that Japan isn't keen on. Weed alone can get you blocked entry from the country so imagine if Yugo was caught with something worse? Be difficult press to manage. Assuming said substances was being used during activities on behalf of NijiEN, it just makes matters worse.

I'm actually inclined to believe this rrat because when i was applying for my Visa they made me take a drug test every 3 months. Even the company I worked at has monthly drug tests. Japan takes this shit super seriously and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that what hes been terminated on.
To put it into context some higher up at my old company was caught with 2g of cocaine on him and got pubically shamed and completely washed from the companys history and given a 7 year sentance. We were specifically told never to mention or even speak to him again.
Hell I even got a stern disciplinary meeting once I tested positive for a perscribed substance and had to go through loops to prove I was prescribed it by a doctor.

Because this seems like something that might be deleted from the VOD:

In his young adult days ("like 15 years ago") Vesper got blackout drunk and woke up the next morning with a massive hangover. He then discovered blood on his bedsheets and thought he lost his virginity. Realising that that probably was not the answer, he checked himself out and discovered he had a wound on his back, which prompted him to go to the hospital.

At the hospital a pyhsician's assistant told him that he had been stabbed with a knife, put a stitch adhesive bandage on him, and billed him 2.2k for the whole affair.

To this day Vesper does not know who stabbed him, how it happened, or how he did not bleed out. The last thing he remembers is the owner of the bar offering him a shot of the best liquor available if he would lick all (10+) the action figures in the comic-themed bar. Vesper did it. He remembers getting to the last (X-Men) action figure and "paying extra attention to the dumpy and everyone thought it was hilarious". For payment he got a whiskey tumbler of the good stuff filled up very generously.

The next night he joined his roommates for their next bar crawl, but told his college professors and took the rest of the week off. He also did not involve the police and is now making jokes about "stabbing" the hypothetical cop's mother last night.

Furthermore, there is a second stabbing story, but he does not want to tell that one, because it is sad instead of funny. That one left a scar though.

It's a Chiri family Christmas special!
Payday 2 is GOAT. It's why people still play it almost a decade after release. Payday 2 also sucks because people still play it almost a decade after release so there's no incentive for Overkill to make a new Payday game that's not built on a broken engine FOR A RACING GAME.

I know Yugo met up with everyone who visited Japan, so maybe ended up partying too hard or leaking info to related friends etc. It definitely sounds like something in the last month or two for them to come to this conclusion. Since yeah, terminations rarely happen in Niji, the only ones that have were indeed due to offline stuff.

I've noticed that when it comes time for Niji "graduation" stuff, they tend to leave on their own accord. Something happened personally, or they just get burnt out on shit (which happens, let's face it). Something had to REALLY set management off for them to just shitcan Yugo like this, and now people are gonna start speculating like crazy.

Sounds about right. I don't want to speculate, but if it's something that happened off stream, that actually makes more sense now, 'cause Niji do get away with a LOT of shit on stream. If it was something completely unmentionable, well.. That gets that old noggin' joggin', don't it?
im going to be the pessimistic one/distrustful of corpo and say they fired him for underperforming. didnt he release a tweet earlier under yuga saying something to the efffect of "sorry i cant satisify all of you" or something?

also you would be surprise how informative all those notices from corpos actually are regarding graduation/retirement. they actually do say the reason, but stay within the bound of confidentiality. no need to over think it. the answer that requires the least amount of assumptions is usually the right one
