He tells the story of how his father took him to a chess tournament, and he lost. He said to his dad it's because I'm tired. His dad got angry. "What's it going to say in the newspaper tomorrow? He lost because he's tired? Or just that he lost?".
Then instead of going home he took him to a hotel room and kept studying chess problems with him all might giving him only a couple of hours of sleep, and sending him to school, picking him up and studying more chess problems. When he was really tired he solved a very difficult chess problem and his dad was exstatic. "See? You can still do it when you're tired!"

He has told a number of such character building stories. Another in which Andrew and his mom were unhappy with how his headcut turned out. His father was furious. "Why are you raising my boys to be bitches?"
He took him to the barber and told the barber to shave andrew's head. "Son, the last thing a man needs to worry about is how he looks. Nobody cares what your headcut is if you're important enough."
Though when he told it I got the impression he still didn't like it or agree, because he ended it with saying, with a shrug "that's the kinda man my father was."

When andrew said he didn't think he could become as good as chess as his father, his father said he thought he could, but belief is a big part of it, so what's he going to do instead? Even as a kid he didn't indulge his sons not having a mission.

In that regard I can see why both of them have a good love of their father.

When his father was caught cheating he told his sons "I can't be around for a while, because your mother is acting crazy, because I slept with another woman. You might not understand now, but you'll understand when you're older".

That I think is probably exemplary of the rift between the tate brothers and their sister.

The idea of genghis khan owning culture is hilarious. Temujin was exemplary in uniting the mongols and raiding and conquering, but each of the khan's that ruled his empire were completely absorbed by the local, non mongolian cultures, leading to the fall of the empire and being one of the shortest lived empires in history.

Andrew Tate is similarly absorbed by islamic culture, which isn't surprising as he grew up in Luton, which is as islamic as rotherham and more so than dearborn.

Tate admitted in a podcast that his father was kicked out of the military (and didn't get his pension), basically for being an insufferable cunt. That's why he ended up as a broke chess hustler. I wouldn't be surprised if this had as much to do with the parents' separation as the infidelity did.

Sounds like overwhelming fantasy our boy has concocted to cope with the fact that, like most nigger fathers, his dad bounced. And like most mutts, it’s always the white parent’s fault (arguably true for breeding with someone your people are incompatible with, way to guarantee your kids have self esteem issues for life). In fairness the Khans share a lot with Andrew in their love for abusing and raping white women. But of all the examples of amazing men who built empires you go with a guy who’s only achievement was to create the Turks who cook my kebabs?

While Andrew often talks about growing up in hardship without his father, the father in question wasn't actually dead. Emory Tate Jr died in 2015, when Andy was 28.
