There shouldn't be porn on a social media that's designed to host speech, especially if it's often political and serious.
Porn makes up like 70% of the web. We should have havens where there is none, and allowing porn on a platform eventually results in "actors" coming to promote and sell their degeneracy and people poasting their dicks and tits online.
All that should be banned IMO. Porn needs to be shunned away from the mainstream. I'm not a prude, I know very well people will still masturbate and have kinky sex, and I don't care.
But we will put you on the margins of society for it and you won't be able to be a proud deviant. You will be just a deviant, and we might even mock you harshly for it.

The smartest thing would just be to put it in the hands of the users. Somebody posts porn, they get a porn notation. You don't want to see porn, you tick a box that says don't show me accounts marked as porn. Somebody posts porn without marking their account they get a ban (and/or get the permanent porn notation).

Seems pretty easy, which I guess is why it will never happen.

When NeoGAF's refugees (Gafugees) tried to look for a new home, they found the majority of the internet fucking hated them and would not allow them in unless they conformed to the rules and decorum of the new communities they tried to move into. Almost every gaming community unilaterally told them to fuck off, from IGN's forums, to GameFAQs. They eventually wound up settling on ResetERA, which they would shit up until the site ultimately imploded.

I am not a liberal nor a libertarian. Everything has consequences, porn included, it normalizes a specific type of sex, performed by actors, for money.
I acknowledge undesirable things like drugs and porn are part of the human experience, but that does not mean we should amplify these hedonistic desires. A society should have other ideals, not just self-satisfaction.
Also, porn was always banned from speech-based communities on the OG Internet, just so you know. Most forums had a porn and "nudity" ban outright, and that was good. Most also banned politics. Which can be OK too, but hard to implement these days. Even most torrent trackers would often relegate porn to its own XXX tab and try to not mix it with Games or Movies.
Now, for Twitter, there is no going back to what you want, because it is host to Amerifat and EU politicians and many orgs share their policies and data on it. It's host to news, police accounts that tell you to stay inside when there's a mass shooting, fire departments and more. It has evolved to be more serious.
I would be OK with enforcing anonymity and forbidding sharing of personal data on it, so we make it less serious, but everyone knows it won't happen, yes?
And why do you NEED porn on Twitter? Why are you so suddenly libertarian when it comes to porn? Can you be less of an obvious coomer and relegate yourself to yourporn or whatever other site dedicated for that?

My reading of their press and website led me to believe these are not people who have deep security in mind. I mean hell in some states you can keep around like five different vanity plates on it as a _built in feature_.

Saw my first one here recently, and 'Porsche Macan owners' was the answer to 'who would buy this'. It was sporting the latest locally trendy vanity plate style on it - the whole point of which being its retro color scheme - so it was underwhelming in Kindlechrome.

I have seen accounts apparently get all their posts marked sensitive by default. So, it actually is possible to get hit by that if enough people report for posting porn without marking it.

It's just, yeah, oddly doesn't seem to happen enough.
