I believe this is the major announcement Trump was promising for today. Gotta catch 'em all.

If this doesn't scream "washed up has-been" in your head I don't know what would. Selling NFTs is shit people like Trippie Redd and Ellen DeGeneres do. And for $99 each? Too expensive for a normie to pick up and too cheap for some crypto trader to buy as a joke.

And yet I believe there were people here whining about DeSantis recent book. Granted, I hate those sort of books by politicians, but this is next level.

He continues to conform to the stereotype of a has-been grifter that I wonder if he'll even make a real attempt at a 2024 run. I think in recent polls it's like 2/3rds in favor of DeSantis over Trump among registered Republicans. It's more like 80/20 for polled independents.

Think though. Why were those laws in place? And who wrote them?

This entire system has been in the works for longer than that. Even if like me you assume they've been winging it at times, it's worth pointing out a lot of these politicians have been around for far longer than the 90's. Ditto for the political impetus behind the woke shit. Like fuck Bernie was in a civil rights march, for example.
the laws were written because legal segregation and discrimination against citizens based on immutable characteristics or personal religious identification violates the spirit and character of the Constitution and our society's values.

The application of those laws and how that's changed over time is what you should really concern yourself with, because what started as a genuine attempt to root out actual instances of racist discrimination legally morphed in the 90s into a culture of political indoctrination that none of the drafters of the Civil Rights Act ever actually conceived of

Sure, bud. That's why a group of racists ended segregation. :story:

No. After reading, and seeing, enough about how the world got to the state it is today, I'm not giving any benefit of the doubt to the government that the CRA era laws weren't intended to lead to what we have today. Do not sell me the load of bullshit that is the concept, that these people weren't aware of how those laws could be leveraged in the future.

1964 is not that long ago. Plenty of people who were in politics then, are in politics right now pushing this shit. Edit: So this is very explicitly clear, I'm not against the ideas behind that such as ending segregation and all that good shit. But they wrote the laws they did, the way they did, for a reason. Unless I'm supposed to believe over a hundred lawyers can read a document and fuck up that badly on "accident".
The list of thing conservatives said they'd go to the mattresses for is infinite. The list of things they actually did anything about is really, really short.
Conservatives are to the GOP what "POC" are to the DNC.

Either they finally break third-party at some point, or the Gay Old Pedophiles keep fucking them in the ass. They've chosen the latter for decades and it'll continue with the way DeSantis' astroturfing is going.

Conservatives get so mad when you tell then they won't stop the next thing, but I've witnessed this for thirty straight years:

  1. The left says they're going to push a new change.
  2. Conservatives say, "The last change was fine, but this is too far! People will never tolerate it! We have all the guns! We'll vote out the Democrats."
  3. The left does the thing via legislation, regulation, and corporate policy.
  4. Conservatives do not overthrow the government.
  5. Conservatives do not come up with any actionable plan to get what they claim to be passionate about.
  6. Republicans at some point win an election and focus on cutting taxes and starting wars; the last leftist thing becomes a social institution.
The last two things to go through this process were Obamacare and gay marriage. We joked in 2012 that in a few years, conservatives would say, "I'm for traditional gay marriage, not this transgender stuff," and thats exactly what conservatives are saying ten years later.

But before that, it was the generic "he" and the word "mankind." It was high-flow showerheads. It was letting kids ride their bikes halfway across the county. It was safe cities, clean streets, and Christmas celebrations. I remember when conservatives said they would never tolerate unmarried people openly living together, I know today hardly any Republican-voting married people who didn't live together for a couple years first.

The list of thing conservatives said they'd go to the mattresses for is infinite. The list of things they actually did anything about is really, really short.
Well, it's more than that why many conservatives act like this.

They grew up in status quo where they were in power so many still don't get they aren't dominant in culture anymore and their status quo is gone. Their blind faith in God to change or remove "bad elements" in society and the world makes them forget of their own due responsibility to change shit instead of just holding their god to force change. When many of them were younger they could make blank threats or grew up with parents (non-new generation republicans which there aren't many of) usually had parents who would threaten people with guns and intimidate their way through life: little man in big tent routine. The problem is they didn't notice the big changes around them. This is why any who proposed leftist power increases were only a trend in their mind and they didn't take it seriously.

The other issue is many of them have severe bystander effect where they believe "the system" will uncorrupt itself or because actions of this magnitude aren't sustainable that because they're the "bigger man" people will gravitate back towards their political affiliation instead of see them as the cowards, loud mouths, and ignorant fools they are.* They are so desperate to believe things will "go back to usual" this is why they put blind trust in people who share some sentiments and make them their BFF Jill over the most menial things. "Wow, black conservatives say they don't like this netflix adaptation: Best conservatives ever." "Wow, Hispanics are catholic, best conservatives ever."/etc.

They do these ridiculous jumps and cling to these beliefs because republicans have an obsession with not facing bleak reality or negatives (hence why any warnings for over 20+ years :) were called black pills or doomers. Even those trying to point out there were solutions but they had to be set up in advance and not be kicked down the road like the stereotypical can waiting to explode.

In regards to little man in big tent routine, many of them were cry bullies and believing because some strong men took their positions when they were in power means THEY TOO are strong men, when most of them are limp wristed cowards. Action wise, conviction wise and more.

The other side are clueless halfwits (Boomercons) who still follow their TV news to the grave and just think the left is a little gayer now, because the cult of MLKism/violence never solved anythingism has brainwashed them into never viewing reality in how it actually is. Which also explains their willingness to suckle any minority who claims to be the "new true conservative." Because that'll show the alt-right or whoever they claim to be racist what's up.

They then let their opposition to their culture, and country into their midst as leaders and follow people who pretend to have their best interest at heart but often show they don't, which allows republicans to push their "due responsiblility" onto a talking head who is probably not interested in the future of America or is obviously lying to them or they get so obsessed with some shared interest they place all faith in them. Hence why many Republicans made Trump a war over the outcome of society instead of realizing he was only one battle for it. (Note: I'm not saying Trump didn't have America's best interest at heart, but they jumped through hoops as if he was the messiah instead of realizing more needed to step up or shape up)

Their Jewish dick sucking obsession is also unseemly. Whether it be going from "Kanye=Best friend ever" to "Kanye=Stupid moron who hates Jews" in seconds,(Not Just Kanye nor is he one of the better examples of this) you don't have to think Kanye is super intelligent to realize the only reason many Republicans stopped calling him "best republican friend ever" is due to him calling out their friends who leave fat loads in their mouths on a daily basis.

Most of them have no understanding of nuance, tribal warfare, their colorblindness is its own bigotry of low expectations, and they gleefully swallow leftist propoganda (Not All argument) as long as it allows them to continue sucking Jew and BFF Jill dick. Their willingness to throw each other over board for the most minor grievances and not realizing they can't hold each other accountable for bad actions when Mr. mean words on twitter isn't worse than their own spineless lack of conviction or their enemies who they never hold accountable.

They are cowards, they are low IQ and they will continue to be beat until they face that reality in ALL regards. Something I feel a vast swath of the republican party is incapable of after having dealt with them for years, let alone warning them.

* = I'm not talking about intelligent republicans and conservatives who don't fall into these parameters, but they are too few and far between. Those who are know who they are.

That's why society is where it is. Democrats/left wingers aren't particularly smart, but socially and nuance wise they are better at understanding human emotion, how to run things (whether unethically or immorally or not) and gain the reigns of power, something Republicans who are afraid of the very title they hold or the responsibility and power they claim to want to grasp or want to maintain.

Either way: It's not merely just the legislation issue that holds Republicans back. It's republicans themselves that hold themselves back and drive many would be republicans away or get caught in stagnation in their reality-blinded views.

In regards to the Trump card thing... Why do I get Trump was convinced of another stupid thing by some yes men. I don't believe he thought of this himself. Hopefully it's a troll to reveal something bigger. Won't hold my breath though.

Melania also did an NFT which was a complete dud. I don't get the reasoning behind it, maybe it's so they can declare it has a certain value so when it decreases they could write it off on their taxes as a loss.

Not sure why people were expecting something serious from this when the announcement came with a picture of Trump in a superhero outfit.

Edit: Not sure if this is real, but looks like Trump may be backing off the NFT thing.

To Trumps credit, he sure got attention with this announcement, which shows he has pull despite the Thernoviches bitching, but this diminishes that.

Making actual trading cards, signing them, then throwing them out at his rallies would actually be a cool gimmick.

It also feels like he A/B tested this and got the feedback he needed really quick (ie everyone laughed at it) for who to hire and fire.

Since 2015 this has been the only thing that really made me go “lol no dawg.” The McCain roasting, the pussy tape, didn’t care and it made me like him more.

Results in what way?
Well, I'd say mostly by forcing Democrats in positions where they can't run or hide, and are forced to admit things or defend things that most wouldn't, like Nancy Pelosi's stock history. More feasible would be "stop donations to Ukraine willy nilly" or "start the talk of impeachment of Biden to where he's left to resign to get ahead of the folks gunning for him".

Or have it where investigations of Hunter Biden gets to where the son is offed and things go "Hunter Biden is dead. Joe will be resigning in order to grieve and be closer to his remaining family". Alternatively, some impeachment or investigation happens, and it turns out Biden is FINALLY tested, and it turns out that a doctor finds Biden is mentally incompetent to stand trial, the right goes "HA! We KNEW Biden wasn't all there mentally!" And then Biden announces "I have (insert condition here). I am resigning in order to focus on my health and spend time with my family." And then he retires to Delaware and does softball interviews and appearances for the rest of his life.

Basically, the "results" the right want now are the things where the left are humiliated because they can't hide and nobody can run defense for them, and the politicians are forced into resignation, retirement, or they announce they won't seek reelection, before fading into obscurity.

How badly did the FTX scandal rock the boat? Im very curious about the behind the scenes damage that's done money wise.
Well, isn't that why everyone is going after Sam? Because he has the answers?
FTX was involved in Ukrainian donations via crypto, and funneled huge piles of money into the democratic party which they definitely didn't make off the back of that unaccountable ukrainian crypto, and them imploding is causing a bunch of questions to start being asked.

That being said, the whole things too many layers removed for normies to catch on to much, so its not gonna shake much up. A few middlemen might feel the squeeze of pressure as they scapegoat it, but everyone who has power in the situation has all the interest in the world to quietly brush this under the rug as much as possible.
Honestly, I wonder if crypto was used BECAUSE it was so complicated. Also, I've heard that crypto is the enemy of the WEF, so governments have been working to create their own digital setups which folks mean that the "cashless" society is more of a dystopia where everything is tracked by the state, money can be deducted, transactions can be cancelled, acess can be denied, and accounts can be switched off like a light by The State.
He got arrested just before he was to testify under oath. He's a pampered autistic turbojew who cant put down the fortnite. His parents are big league DNC money raisers and indoctrinators. I'm surprised they haven't had their scapegoat epsteined yet. It will be soon and the machine their scapegoat benefitted will simply shrug, say "oh well, I guess that's over then." and drop the whole mess.
I wonder if Jeffrey Epstein himself destroyed that endeavor. His death made it where they can't move without everyone going #DidntKillHimself. I know the joke is "suicide via gunshots to the back of the head", but now folks (at least on the right) are conditioned to see ANY news of death as murder to silence, with the cause only being made as an attempt to disguise the murder as looking like something other than murder.

And if this makes you think this is some kind of real life Death Note shit, I don't blame you.
