As a lifelong gamer, and someone who has been involved in development in the past. The "games as art" and "games need to grow up" undercurrents of the late 2000's and early 2010's have been a disaster for the medium and culture in general. Combine that with the woke movement and it's just hell.

I think that games can be art and are, in a certain sense, because at the end of it all a lot of them are expressions of creativity and can evoke feelings and blah blah blah. I also believe that "art" should not be "grown up" in the sense that these people always talk about it. It seems like a lot of the people that want games to be "mature" only took an hour of writing or watched some Youtube video about THEMES and that's their threshold on what art should be.

TBH I think stuff like DDLC should be considered better art than shit like God Of Say Ragnabros because it actually does something with the medium it is on. Say what you will about Undertale but at least it leans into the fact that it is a game and isn't just a series of cutscenes with linear gameplay in-between. So I guess that's my threshold, if a game actually uses the fact that it is a game in some way then it is already a step up from most Sony moviegames. Hell even Mario and weebshit like Xenoblade do a better job at using the medium they are on for whatever their purpose is.

It is probably best not to do that. Just like with the Skeptics these fucks will implode on their own. I used to lurk hard in both the EFAP and Rags Discord a year and half ago posting their dumb posts ITT, and I was planning on posting the furry shit Rags sent but it just got too gross for me to look at and left them. If you pay one dollar (and cancel it) to his Patreon you get access to Rags' Discord and he has dedicated porn channels there, I remember him having a specific fetish for late stage pregnant women and random gay stuff (like getting fucked on a hiking trip). I do have this screenshot saved tho:

So here is the deal SM is more of a dude who basically shares his gaming vids and overly criticizes that has lead him to major controversy( this is not his first one) he had a dog fight with the doom enternal community over his take on the game and recently he released an elden ring view where people just acted actually like retards( similarly in the gow ragnarok case) and disliked bombed his video, which was again discussed in /v/ but the thread is pruned before i could archive it. (oh efap discord actually moniters and raided SM threads lmao)

so to get a basic idea, he is actually safe to watch and has interesting takes but he has some baggage of videos where he self admittedly said that "youtube videos dont hold much value so its useless to script it and he has no problem for people to point factual inaccuracies " which he had in gow review that sony fanboys where mad like whether the first berserk fight was mandatory or not and he thought it was mandatory.
so what efap did?

in conclusion, i would recommend that you do watch his vids, but he is just a guy who probably has the persona of /r9k/ and /v/ mix with /pol/ which is an interesting mix compared to the scourge of "PLATOLARPERS" we have now days on YouTube.
