The Musk purchase was foolish, he had no idea what he was going to do with it once he had it, but I believe he formulated his plan to acquire it when capital was more readily available in general. Everyone was making adventurist investment decisions at the time, and just like Musk started to panic and try to pull out when they realized big daddy Fed was about to bring down Pound Town. Musk has always been more of a social media influencer than an entrepreneur in my eyes; in that vein acquiring Twitter made some sense, pick up a failed platform and flip it around. The ones complaining the loudest about new management are the reason why the old management had to go.

I hope "Enron" manages to stabilize things, a mainstream social media platform with sane moderation policies would be a nice change. It's a shame Elon himself is and has been one of the most notorious man-children, dare say lolcows, in the Twittersphere.

You know, I don't know if I'm the only one but this sounds like an "imminent threat to human life". Like, yeah, we all know that Twitter has been frequently home to revolting content. This alone, as we all know, shouldn't be grounds for the removal of Twitter as a site. Considering Musk's recent campaign to try to clean up the site. Also, people who get banned are generally liars, or too stupid to realize what they were banned for. In addition to this, we cannot know someone's account history, and most sites will not confront someone in "public" about their ban. This does not even take in to account the fact some things will get you banned forever "with no warning", because of the severity. I'm preaching to the choir right, you all fucking know how websites work, right?
