Friendly reminder that if you're on Poast, Chudbuds, or another free-speech friendly fediverse instance you could, say, respond to her and call her on old dried-out cunt and you wouldn't be banned. Just speaking theoretically here.
I did call her a name over a month ago when she was bitching about Mastodon not moderating mean toots.

A self proclaimed tech journo doesnt know how to block instances or understand how technology works? I guess she got that title because she covers what happens online or some shit. More than likely nothing to do with competence in using tech.

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAAAAA

Taylor Lorenz is on Twitter spaces saying that doxxing her is not OK but doxxing Elon Musk is:

Edit: Taylor Lorenz just said she is "very pro-free speech."
I listened to some of it live, and it was so goddamn painful to hear how stupid they sound.

Notably, Taylor whined that her contact at Twitter doesn't work there anymore, so she doesn't know who to whine to in case she gets banned.

Oh, so you did have a direct line to Twitter, and that's what this has all been about?

And you think journalists should have special exceptions because they deserve more information access than everyone else?

OMG the guy just said we're a bunch of old people.

I haven't heard her that much but jeezus christ.

And she compared this stuff to Lowtax Hahahah
Or someone did, I thought this was just her.
One thing about Ben Collins is he's "old as hell." He never stops reminding you of this. He's the anti-Taylor in that way.

Most of these free-speech friendly instances are limited/suspended by admins. check out the moderated server list to see which ones are allowed.

My favorite part is she used contact a twitter employee directly to remove tweets she doesn't like but that person got fired by Elon lol

I think that's the best (and most important) part of all this -- backchannels are being severed en masse, which levels the playing field in a way these people can't reverse. The kvetching is hilarious, but the fact that these fuckers are losing their ability to ignore the rules by nagging someone behind the scenes is a huge deal. And hearing Musk openly tell them directly to their faces that they're not special just because they're journoscum was incredible. They're accustomed to hearing that, but not from people who can do something about it and are doing so.

Imagine how much people like Jonathan Yaniv and Brianna Wu are seething right now. I bet their "backchannels" are gone too.

Meanwhile, her Mastodon account is still active - and she's babbling something about her timeline glitching out and worrying that she's about to be banned. Related, perhaps?
Unsurprisingly, while all the journalists who were suspended broke the same rule, several of them acted like they had no idea and claimed it could only be Musk censoring them from reporting on him. So of course Taylor is going with that angle, even though she didn't link to the same plane tracking thing all the others did, because why tell the truth when you can just act like anyone who says anything mean about Musk could be next?

Which is also classic projection, because I'm sure Taylor can't fathom owning a platform like Twitter and not taking the opportunity to punish people you don't like or anyone who even hints at criticising you.

How the fuck can you be "unsafe" on Twitter?
Taylor Lorenz 'I had to flee my (very cheap, honest) home because of threats' arc when? I'm surprised she hasn't pulled that one already, tbh.

Her whole life has been like this, the elitist pampered POS. Everywhere this elitist bitch goes, she gets the VIP treatment, there's always someone there to push her to the front of the line.
And indeed, the idea of being treated like everyone else was so unbearable to her, that she DFE, nuked her Twatter account and bugged off to Mastodon.
