In club football news, several English clubs are now heavily linked with a January move for Dusan Vlahovic. I remember a year ago, the guy was so excited to join Juve. Then reality set in...

And all hope and optimism was lost.

It's looking like he'll end up at either United, Arsenal or Chelsea. Once he's under a good manager, this guy is going straight to the top.

I see it in your eyes you want the cup of life.

Last words on the Moroccan team, I think they played very well against France, better than England, but they were missing a crucial piece, an actual striker. It really infuriated me, I had to take a walk after the game. I hope they find better luck and strikers next time.

What's everyone's views on the world cup overall?

I think it's been a let down personally. Not just because I'm english, but the general atmosphere has been piss poor, with plenty of big teams under performing. Aside from Japan's escapades, most of the games have been boring also. The fact that it's happened in winter only adds to the lack lustre personally. People should be out in pub gardens and having barbecues whilst watching the world cup, not sat at home.

Bring on 2026 and lets hope this winter experiment never happens again.

I thought it was great and a good change of pace.

Much better than 2010 for sure.

On a side note, I am surprised that the Qataris allowed that one Croatian model to run around in skimpy outfits in the stadium.

But they for the most part kept BIG GAY out.

And VAR is a good thing.

I enjoyed it too. Excellent group stage and semi final, fingers crossed for the final. And it was interesting to follow the media circus around it all.

Watch some coverage from fans. Contrary to popular belief, middle eastern countries while shitty for many reasons, they do not stone women nor throw gays of the roof tops.

I'll also add that seeing half empty stadiums at the World Cup is really deflating and sucks away what little hype you might have had. Even the pajeets they paid to pad out the numbers didn't help plug the gap and exposed how few real fans travelled.

It is funny though when the announcer says it's a sell out crowd and the camera pans to a bunch of empty seats.
