I know that people here aren't fond of The Internet Investigator, and I can understand why.
I know it's another "NSFL disturbing reddit post" and should be taken with a grain of salt but, holy fucking shit.
For those that don't want to watch it, I'm gonna give you a TL;DW summary
Basically underage groomed MtF troon (because of course), starts to develop
feelings for his father after developing a thing for older men, because he dated
some older married man. Manages to suppress this "feeling" for a year.
Goes into a big detail how he's into degradation, humiliation and sissy fetish (of course)
and how he loves to "submissive" (not a fetish btw).
Becomes friendly with the previous man he dated and tells him about his feelings for his dad, the man grooms encourages him
to pursue these feelings also pretends to be his dad, so he can get a tattoo. But long story short, during one night he got his dad drunk
and sexually assaulted him, trying to tell him "He wanted this". The dad after this, doesn't want to talk to him.
The troon tries to justify his actions through comments.
Condensed TL;DW : Troon pulls a Chris-Chan on his drunk dad.
This reddit post gives me the same vibes of very recent reddit post that's been under lots of fire (for a good reason) , where a MtF troon
gets upset/jealous because his sister got sexually abused by their uncle and he didn't.
But outside of that, the video is your average Internet Investigator video, post slapped on the video with her reading it,nothing special.
I don't agree with her take of " uwu It's not a person fault for their paraphilias, because they can't help it or
choose that. What matters is how they behave about it."
It comes off as half-assed enabling because I guess even if you say "Yeah no one thinks like that you're a broken person, seek help
for your fucked up paraphilias and fetishes before something bad happens to you and people around you." in the most nicest way possible,
you have more chances to be labeled as mean, -phobe and close minded than reasonable, because we live in a time period where
being nice and respectful to people for sake of being "civil" is more important than telling them harsh truths, even when they don't deserve that kindness or respect.
I know Reddit is girldick central #12, but even this sounds too outrageous to be true. Kinda sounds like an edgy teen looking for some shits and giggles one night.

I agree - I kinda want to check out the whole account of this person to see what other shit they're posting, but I'm simply too retarded today to find it.

Sorry if I'm two weeks late with this one, but holy fucking shit! 17+ hours?! I dare anyone to try to watch it through one sitting without having to take a bathroom break.
I couldn't even sit through more than 5 seconds of this shit. I hate it when these creeps do the "hello darling kitten" in that "soft" and unsettling tone. It's so cringe.
Speaking of Creepypastas, remember when those stopped being about a cursed game and then they became about a trauma that the writer experienced or something independent of the game? Like that Huniepop one or the Sims one with the abusive parents.
What are some good channels for unexplained mysteries and bizzare investigations and stuff? Lightly paranormal is fine too. Most of the channels mentioned here are just about disasters, I want the mystery

Wendigoon's great. He doesn't stay on one topic though, kinda just does whatever he feels like doing. He does have that 9 hour conspiracy tier list, though.

Starring with a new dreading video (1 day late with this one), it's more of him milking discussing the Sheri Papini case, but this time for 5 hours.
Skimmed through it a bit, and it's him showing more interview footage with minimum commentary from him.
Second new vid is from Dire Trip discussing the case of a QAnon Boomer killing his wife and daugther.
Just like any video covering this kind of topic, the comment section for this one is a gigantic septic tank with lunatic takes like these:

I avoid videos that cover “dark” Reddit posts and accounts because I swear 90% of them are just elaborate, shitty ARG’s, trolls, or attention whores looking for karma.
I’m liking the content about ILJ on Eudoxia and Turkey Tom. Seeing ‘the internet sleuths’ at kiwi farms get credited for exposing ILJ, and Chris Chan being correctly referred to as male was refreshing. KF will continue to serve as a source for content creators far more popular than Lucas and co

I'm going to somewhat sperg about it, but I believe that none of the awful channels discussed in this thread would be nowhere near as bad if they didn't care about the money. Every time someone starts caring about superberries or patreon they begin to pander and bend to their audience because they literally put their own livelihood on the hands of strangers. There's a different approach someone takes when creating something if other people are directly influencing every decision one takes. On the other hand, I feel like if someone like Wendigoon lost his audience overnight he would still make the content he likes (granted if he still has the energy to do so).
I genuinely like Nick and wanted to like this video. The only one that really had my interest was the accident on the Japanese show. Nick can make really interesting videos but he's been going after low-hanging fruit lately and I dunno if it's because of the YouTube censorship stuff.

TurkeyTom is based. If he doesn’t have an account here already I’ll welcome him with open arms.
I'm hesitant about sharing this one, because I don't want you to spend an hour on something you're going to not end up liking and I can see it being very divisive. (There's a twist at the end and I can't share my feelings or I'll spoil it). But if you have extra time:
spoilers:
I don't really know how I feel about this. It seemed like he was saying "you morons won't watch a proper documentary so I had to do it this way" at the end, which for this topic seems incorrect for YouTube. Also if the guy got three years I don't know why the real name can't be used, apparently Martin is the actual last name and I was trying to research it but came up short so far. Also I'm not entirely sure what information he was trying to share if it not only happened years ago but the guy went to jail and no names are used?
Loved the new Dire Trip video! He’s really becoming one of the best true crime channels on YouTube and his channel isn’t even that old. IIRC he doesn’t do obnoxious self censoring either.
I never looked deep into QAnon but after he showed the post I was in awe of how thousands are actually believing some Anon’s shitpost/schizoposting. Boomers really think anything on 4chan is true holy shit

Man, everyone here loves Dire Trip so I gotta watch his stuff then.
In other news, new Shrouded Hand where he takes a deep dive into the really fucked up history of psychology, hereunder a hack psychologist became obsessed with the book Walden Two, only to do the complete opposite and use negative reinforcement (read: increasingly fucked up acts of child abuse, torture, and neglect) for behavioral therapy.
God, I find psychology interesting but this was super hard to watch. Fucking hell, early psychology research, and psychiatric therapy really was a Smörgåsbord for sadists.
Edit: They didn't ban electrocuting people until 2020? What in the fuck? And of course, there are loopholes so that did fuck all. The FDA is bullshit.
I respect Shrouded Hand for mentioning both sides of the argument (while clearly calling the bullshit out) as apparently, some people advocate for the torture center to remain open since it helped them.
