The way I read it was that today is for the contempt violations on the RO Vickers has against him. He was given a pass on his failure to appear because he showed proof he sent an email asking for the zoom link the day of the hearing.
It can be either. Either can result in jail time, although with civil contempt, you generally get out if you comply with whatever order you violated to get jailed.
Ralph got the W today, no arguing that I suppose.
Context: it appears that the judge ruled that Ralph had not yet been properly served.
I really doubt whatever Vickers is trying to serve Ralph with is so terrible that it's worth giving up visitation, living in hiding and in constant fear of being served.
Ralph went dark for a few days, but the "Parts Unknown" era has lasted several months at this point.
