Yes I know there's greater cultural differences and a bigger picture involved, but my god is it not always annoying when they all have these copy paste mouth breathing caricatures that gasp and moan more than anyone who has ever lived. The artists always act like they just invented the cure for cancer instead of just making yet another forgettable hyper-detailed anime titty monster of the week with no character to them whatsoever. Its so much wasted potential on something that could be truly great but in practice is yet another example of "style over substance".

I can't even put an estimate on how many different anime and manga my old friends and acquaintances have tried to get me into that I would like if not for the coomerisms and spergy, autistic, childish mannerisms that are pretty much omnipresent in the genre. I used to watch Slayers so damn much when I was really little and grew out of it very quickly when I started getting old enough to recognize those things in the show and in the movie. IIRC, Outlaw Star, Cowboy BeBop and Trigun would shine if cleaned up of anime-isms, but it has been several years, so who knows?

That's just something that should be uniform across the political spectrum because there is no middle ground on it. There's left, and that should (but does not these days) hate that shit, right, which should (and usually does these days) hate that shit, and everyone else, except chesters (and the everyone else but chesters hate that shit).

There's really two sides to the debate, and one of them should be against a wall.

I hate when someone goads you into an argument that they obviously have been autisticly researching about, and ambushes you with pre-prepared questions. Like dude, the only possible reason you "won" this debate is because you were loaded with 40 different articles and factoids that noone would know about otherwise.

Do you have proof that any centrist said this? The only people I've seen saying this are radical leftists that try to associate pedophiles with the LGBT community.

Anime sucks in general. It either has incredibly childish/autistic “humor” or is blatant pedo bait, usually both

It's been commodified and reduced to the least common denominator to appeal to the mutilated tastes of zoomers and the censorious, agenda based criteria of western distributors. Also, to be fairly honest, japanese society has been degrading since the good years of Heisei

Peoples weird insistance on delivery for fast food.

Co-worker called me up just now asking if I'd play games with him, I told him I'm going to get some lunch first. He told me that's too far of a drive for a burger, I told him "Oh well, that's what I feel like."

And then he argues with me for like 10 minutes that I should just pay 3x the price to have it delivered instead of just driving 6 miles down the road and his argument seems to generally just be "no bro, that 20 minutes of your time costs way more than the 40 dollars it costs to have it delivered to you!"

This co worker also constantly bitches about not having any money btw. That's another thing, all these people bitching about how broke they are but the second you tell them to stop wasting their money on non essential shit and to budget they just act like that's some sort of herculean effort.

That and fast food is nasty exactly 5 minutes away from the line. There is no resurrecting lukewarm or cold fries. At least you can reheat pizza or most Asian food and it be somewhat edible. I have no idea why people are paying way more than it actually costs to eat nasty cold fast food that they may or may not get.

When content creators and the like don't take the opportunity to celebrate April Fool's Day, it doesn't piss me off, but it does disappoint me a bit. Such a waste of harmless shenanigans.
