Sometimes I wish someone would tow foot tackle those smug refereesWhat is the point of VAR of they don't even have a good look at that one?

The main reason was because the league accepted the financial offer from Events NSW to have the three next grand finals (end of season playoff finals) in Sydney instead of the home of the highest placed semi finalists. The league was compelled to accept the offer since they bled money from the lengthy lockdowns in Australia and lower than expected broadcast revenue from their Paramount deal.Football chimp out in Australia of all places. Pitch invasion during the Melboune derby led to the matches abandonment.
Was watching this at home. Switched off after the first 20 minutes in solidarity with the supporter groups, went and did some house work and came back to find out on social media that Glover had been attacked. The media had been starting to change their tune about football fans in this country and Australia is coming off their best ever result at a World Cup. Worst of all as it was a hot opening 20 minutes and City had just scored a cracking good goal. That's all gone now.The main reason was because the league accepted the financial offer from Events NSW to have the three next grand finals (end of season playoff finals) in Sydney instead of the home of the highest placed semi finalists. Initially the plan was for both sets of fans to leave the ground after 20 minutes but since A-League supporters in Melbourne are private school students and dole bludging meth heads who watched Green Street Hooligans too many times, they decided to smuggle flares and toss them to the pitch.
Their justification for invading the pitch (from the "away" Melbourne Victory supporters) was that Melbourne City goalkeeper Tom Glover threw a flare back at them, conveniently omitting the fact that he wouldn't have thrown it if they did not bring in the flares in the first place and they are already in the process of invading the pitch so the flare was thrown behind the goals (behind the advertisement boards) where they are not supposed to be. Apparently in their minds it's a good enough reason to threw a garbage bin at him which hit his head and led to bleeding and concussion. They also want him banned as well.
Doesn't help their cause when in their outrage (the "decent Victory supporters" who condemned the chimpout) they also mentioned that a good number of the pitch invaders have already been given life bans by the club and federation which implies it doesn't work since they don't have a method to enforce the ban and the banned people can still buy general admission tickets and their other mates won't call them out on it. Almost all of these incidents are also linked to these Melbourne Victory "ultras" so they already have reputation for this kind of behaviour.
For me, the best Rowntree post was the one from Russia about the disabled guy being thrown by england fans
Do any of y'all have a livestream link to this game? Just thought I'd ask since I'm actually awake to watch this...
Semifinal is an amazing achievement for Morocco, why even be that upset over losing? Most predicted them to go out in the group stage.So... it appears that the resident Moroccans didn't take the defeat pretty well, they were fucking up French cities.

Really makes you think.
Their work has been definitely commendable, it's just that their fans makes you want they lose 7-0 next time.Semifinal is an amazing achievement for Morocco, why even be that upset over losing? Most predicted them to go out in the group stage.

Very soft penalty for Argentina.
