I wonder if we can find his case on PACER, he was 18 (almost 19) on the arrest so I think it should not be sealed. I checked Bexar county records and he is not there so it should be under the US District court for Western District of Texas San Antonio division.

Indictment is on PACER. But I think spectating will not be allowed since Federal Courts do not allow recording in regular court. Maybe there will be an exception due to it being on Zoom.
I also think the feds won't be kicking down charges for state level to handle, everything he did was online/electronic so unless he's gonna prove that his CP was produced by himself or transfered by USB (Which means he's still 100% guilty)....

He's only charged with federal crimes. And we've been pretty routinely listening in on Zoom calls from federal courts, but there are special rules for cases involving minor victims.

Alejandro Velasquez, an activist associated with white supremacist leader Nick Fuentes’ far-right “Groyper” movement pleaded guilty on May 16 to a charge of making a “threatening communication” directed at a conference held by the group Turning Point USA. Velasquez, a 19-year-old Texas man who was known by the online alias “LatinoZoomer,” had written a post on Instagram featuring a gun emoji and declaring the start of the conference would be a “day of retribution.”
The court docket shows Velasquez only pleaded guilty to the charge related to his post, which indicates the child pornography charges may have been dismissed as part of his plea agreement. Federal prosecutors and Velasquez’s attorney did not immediately respond to requests for comment from TPM.

He doesn't get sentenced until August. If they're going to give him probation, they'll probably keep it over his head to make sure he cooperates. They can always refile if he doesn't.

Well per the docket he was supposed to be sentenced last week on October 18th but there hasn't been any docket updates since October 12th which was the submission of a presentence investigation report so who knows what happened.
