For those who expect her to tell all when she gets home, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
The benchmark I use for this kind of thing is the constant intrigue that occurred in late 2019.
She spent a three month period when all kinds of major shit was going on, and we have never come close to knowing what it was. It was during this time when Bibi went on his mystery trip to Africa, his sister allegedly moved in with them, Chantal sold her car, Chantal bought new car, Chantal gouged the door on her car, Chantal appeared frequently to be under the influence of an unknown drug (especially during a very weird and stoned-like psych-emerge/quitting internet soliloquy), Chantal started doing Mukbangs at weird hours of the night, plus a bunch of stuff I am forgetting. She ended the year with a hysterectomy, prior to which she went on the biggest eating spree we ever saw from her.
Nothing she has ever told us about that whole situation ever made a lick of sense. It didn't even make crazy-sense. It was all engulfed in a web of contradicting lies and pure gibberish.
At various times we heard that the sister was living with them, and that the sister wasn't living with them. Sister and brother seemed to be sharing a bed in brother's room at times, with Chantal holed up in her own room. She was upside-down on her car, yet suddenly decided to sell it (how? If she is upside down, a dealer wouldn't buy it unless she buys another car at the same time, which she didn't. I always figured it was Bibi's car, and he forbade her from driving it after she scraped it while parking.) She said the sister would let her drive the car, and she did drive an unknown car one time on a mukbang. Then, she owned the Kia. She told us at various times that the sister was aloof and not friendly, then like her best friend, like family, someone with whom she was planning to do daily zoomba, and a nasty bitch. She told us Bibi would be gone indefinitely, then for three weeks, then for a few days, then for two weeks. There has never been any confirmation that Bibi even went to Africa. The sister was never seen in the videos (but one time a voice that may have been hers was heard). We were told everything was fine with Bibi. I could go on and on, but why bother?
Then, she and Bibi broke up. The sister was never mentioned ever again. Bibi was almost never mentioned (except when she paid an unannounced visit to him in a livestream) except to say that she had left all her stuff in his apartment and that she was "meeting him regularly". Everything else from this era was dropped cold as a topic.
Whatever happened then, which clearly seems to have been traumatic and behavior-changing, has never been explained.
More recently, look at her mess of contradicting stories involving Nader. We did get some pieces of truth from her despite herself because when she rages, stuff comes out. But much of the Nader era is still a jumble of hazy lies that make no sense.
My prediction is that when she returns to Canada, she will remain coy and vague about the whole Salah era and their future plans. We'll never know the truth behind how they met, what kind of sham marriage they had, their living arrangements, their financial arrangements... We'll get a couple of tidbits of real-sounding information, some of which she will contradict. And the rest will just be another half-assed (but effective) job at muddying up the waters. This is what she does; it is one of the reasons none of her arcs ever seem to have satisfying (or even clear) resolutions.
