To be fair Telsa has been a highly volatile stock simply due to Elon's social media antics. I would understand why people want him out of that if I were an investor trying to keep my portfolio clean.

I looked it up, the third largest shareholder of Tesla wants Elon out, and if public companies and scenarios like this are anything to go by, it could very well end up with a massive snowball effect, (reminds me of late 90s Apple)

He's on a collision course with the EU for sure, especially Germany since they are the ones who see American social media companies operating in the EU as their cash cow that they can endlessly fine for this or that violation.

I actually want him to block Germans from accessing Twatter because this will hopefully inspire other American social media platforms to do the same. For me, it's about the blatant hypocrisy of Europeans using American social media while insisting that Americans disregard their freedoms in order to gain access to European internet users - who clearly can't handle the paradigm-shattering sight of watching Americans run their mouths freely online and must be protected from this shameless display of free speech. What good are rights if they are just traded away for access to foreign markets?

Also, think of the psychological impact this will have on Germans themselves. They've been following the news about how Russians now have to use Tor and VPN to access Western social media because Putin is such an evil dictator, while thinking themselves free and the good guys. But when access to Twatter is blocked, and now it's Germans themselves who have to use VPNs and Tor to access American social media... what does that say about them? Are they still free and the good guys?

The world is better without Twitter. The world is in fact, better without all social media. This is why I want Elon to ban the EU from Twitter. It would be extremely funny with no net negative consequences. I‘d be jealous of them. My far-off dream is for Twitter to crash and burn indefinitely, but I will give Twitter’s team sans Elon credit, they’ve been staving off the possibility with an impressive up time despite everything.

Except Tesla stock is not just losing value over Elon’s social media antics. It’s losing value because Elon has been dumping billions of dollars in shares to prop up Twitter and the company is facing an onslaught of competition.
