Megathread Tranny Sideshows on Social Media - Any small-time spectacle on Reddit, Tumblr, Twitter, Dating Sites, and other social media.

Exactly, that really struck me after I read it. I don't believe in "gender identity" but there are definitely gender roles that make most men feel more or less secure in their identity. But those are deeper things that involve one's actions and commitments to other people.

For men, feeling pride in being a man or feeling manly involves stuff like: being a good provider, protecting others, being the head of one's family. It's not always benign, but it involves others in society and how you connect to them. But this woman, despite being a doctor in the Army (which for most men would be a source of "affirmation" for gender roles) gets her affirmation exclusively from superficial shit she does by herself (push ups, wearing binders), stuff people say to her (conversation about stereotypically "manly" topics), and consumer products.

I'd ignore that if she was an outlier but of course MtFs are exactly the same. Despite all their bullshit about being women because they occupy a woman's place or perform a woman's role in society, they never feel affirmed by caring for others or nurturing. Gender affirmation is all about them (pampering them and making them feel like special princesses) or about consumer goods like clothes and makeup.

No wonder capitalism puts its full support behind these people lol. They're the perfect class of consumers.

On a lighter note, Twitter is currently a goldmine for people throwing tantrums about a wizard game that is apparently coming out soon:

He's been quiet on twitter, seems like the wife hasn't left yet, but there is less sperging about cool weather facts and more raging at Trump and Elon Musk, Sad :(

I think this vulnerability and connection around the dinner table is in her head. I've seen it drawn a million times in fujoshi comics. Sure men can be vulnerable and connected, but it's not some weird romantic thing like she's interloping some lost tribe in Africa. This is analogous to the TIM fantasy sleepover. Men want to experience women as being more lascivious than we are, women want to experience men as being more sensitive and faggy.

when i mentioned the tranny from my job a few days ago having psycho eyes, this is what I was talking about.

why the fuck is this so common
My theroy- there's something called 'Sanpaku Eyes', meaning the whites can be seen above or below the eye.

From Wikipedia:

According to Chinese/Japanese medical [3] face reading, when the white part of the eye, known as the sclera, is visible beneath the iris, it represents physical imbalance in the body and is claimed to be present in alcoholics, drug addicts, and people who over-consume sugar or grain.[4] Conversely, when the upper sclera is visible it is said to be an indication of mental imbalance in people such as psychotics, murderers, and anyone rageful. In either condition, it is believed that these people attract accidents and violence.[2]

I absolutely believe there is a physical mechanism behind it. Just try to mimic the look in a mirror, your eyes will get tired almost immediately.

It still weirds me out how incomprehensibly ugly all these people are. Despite hailing from the land of beer guts and sausage I'd say about 65-70% of the people I encounter on a daily basis are at least average looking.

What is it about troonism that appeals to the literal bottom 1% of humanity?

“I will be exactly like a cis woman who’s had a hysterectomy.”

Life must be pretty blissful when you’re this delusional and retarded lol
Since this lie that the differences between men and women are merely hormones and genitalia is getting more and more common, here's a reminder that even the way skin is attached to the muscle (connective tissue) is different between males and females. Men have coarse, thick skin that attaches in a crossing pattern to give it strength, while women have soft, thin skin that attaches in parallel strands to give it elasticity for childbirth.

You can see this if you look up close as men's skin has a sort of diamond pattern, and you can certainly feel it. This is also why men who have lost a lot of weight more commonly have loose skin and terrible stretchmarking.

There will never, ever be a full body skin transplant for trannies, there is no way to instruct the human body to just suddenly start instructing the connective tissue to heal differently. Even if there were the most butcheresque of tranny surgeons wouldn't risk it as the level of risk for infection, blood loss, etc would be astronomical.

You will always have the skin of your birth sex.

Depending on with whom. Normal white man, no problem. Nonwhite or another woman, likely trouble unless the first woman is black herself. Any sort of tranny, hoo boy.

A woman with a cybernetic strap-on. Not a man, not a "he". If it had been a man, it would've been a flattering depiction. But it wasn't.
There's no way of knowing what's under that lycra bodysuit, however I can confirm that trannies exist in Cyberpunk. Claire, the character that gives you the racing missions, has a trans pride flag on "her" car and is, to the dev's credit, clearly clockable as a tranny once you notice that little detail.

Why would troons exist in a world in which you can transfer your consciousness into an entirely different body?

Wouldn't you just do that?

That tech seemed to still be in the experimental stages and still unavailable to the general public/prohibitively expensive but I agree with the sentiment. Also, troons from before they figured out how to do that. This character was like 30ish so could have trooned out as a teenager 15 years before the game.

I'm going to disagree with you here slightly: changes in sex hormones can somewhat change the look and feel of skin (this can happen in disorders involving the sex hormones as well as in troonism).

I have a personal theory that this is why you often see such rapid aging in trans people, particularly males who started hormones a bit later: the change in fat distribution and connective tissue combined with aged/unhealthy skin turns into jowls and wrinkles.

What also strikes me is the AGPs always cooing about their new soft skin, which is probably due to changes in connective tissue, whilst never wondering about what changes might be happening to all the other important connective tissue in their body, and then never putting it together with their sudden health decline. Oh well.

But in general you are right. Whenever you hear a troon talking about how hormones have changed their sex and rewired their genes and all the usual cope, be sure to show them this recent genome study that found that gene expression was modified in only 3% of relevant regions (I added the stuff in brackets):

X chromosome and sex-specific autosomal DNA methylation patterns [basically, the patterns in the way a gene expresses itself] established in early development are largely refractory to change in association with GAHT [gender-affirming hormonal therapy], with only 3% affected...
...A total of 12,516 DMPs [DNA methylation patterns] (mean Δβ > 0.05) were identified on the X chromosome, of which 98.9% were unaltered after 12 months of GAHT, indicating that GAHT has little influence on X inactivation-associated DNA methylation.
[O]nce established by 6 months, GAHT-associated DNA methylation changes are largely stable in the presence of hormone treatment [ie, there is no evidence that longer-term treatment leads to more epigenetic changes].
... This indicates that sex-specific DNA methylation that is present throughout life, from birth to adulthood, is hard-wired and determined by genetic and developmental programmes, and not susceptible to change in response to hormones.
(Take note of the cope in the article's headline, as well. "Gender-affirming hormone therapy induces specific DNA methylation changes in blood." I suppose they wouldn't have gotten it published otherwise? I've actually seen TRAs post this study in support the argument that humans can change sex via hormones, because they never bother to read past the headline)
