I guess what I just find truly bizarre about all this, aside from a few YouTube videos, is that absolutely nobody seems to be talking about it, and it’s perhaps the most prevalent animal abuse genre I’ve seen peddled.

Like, typing monkeyhate videos into google and then clicking the News tab only yields one article from a semi-obscure source discussing the phenomena. It’s truly baffling how under-the-radar this community has flown with the general public and the media despite being so out there.

We all know it’s not because they’re covert and know how to evade identification. Frankly this sick following has some of the biggest brain-dead retards I’ve ever encountered online. They’re vile, twisted, AND stupid; a holy trinity of nastiness not uncommon in the typical coomer, only they’re far more harmful.

I’ve seen some nasty shit online and due to my field of work have pretty thick skin and stomach, but this whole monkeyfucker ring is truly one of the most horrible things I’ve ever encountered. It’s so truly depraved and unimaginably evil it doesn’t even sound real, but the human race has a reputation of further lowering my expectations.

Y’all are doing the Lord’s work by identifying these sick fucks. These people have violently destroyed the lives of innocent animals, let’s destroy these people’s in return. They don’t deserve a second chance or mercy. Semper fi, Kiwi’s. This is truly amazing progress.

A few youtubers have talked about it, but yeah other than one ot two articles it seems like news outlets are largely ignoring it.

How widespread it is and how many people are openly into this sick shit is one of the most disturbing aspects of it. People can be pretty terrible to wildlife, but the perversion of this shit goes to another level. Especially the fact that they're blatantly using the monkeys as stand-ins for human children.

It's basically the horrific, cyber-dystopian evolution of the longstanding issue of humans exploiting and mistreating other primates. Long tailed macaques in particular have a long history of being poached/trafficked, especially for medical research. That's likely a big factor in why they're the most common victims of BMT, they're already being taken from the wild and sold illicitly in huge numbers.

And what I supposedly saw is tame. I have nothing but respect for the people on here who are stomaching this shit to get these people doxxed.

Most zoos and sanctuaries have social media including YouTube accounts. Trying to stick to videos from the official accounts of trustworthy institutions (like an AZA-accredited zoo) is a good way to stay a bit safer when browsing cute animal videos on YT.

Yeah pretty much the only exception to primates with clothes being a bad sign is when animals at accredited facilities are given them as enrichment items, like this chimp who was formerly used in entertainment who loves cowboy boots.

If you see a macaque in a diaper or other baby clothes, chances are it's not in a good situation.

a video uploaded on youtube of monkey abuse which makes it big can net thousands of dollars to the uploader over time. in countries like cambodia this is a potentially life changing amount (it equals the yearly salary of a doctor which is around 4,000USD). this is just what i've read though. perhaps the figures aren't accurate.

for the custom torture videos, they take commissions directly. i don't remember the numbers off of the top of my head but i think i have it somewhere in my notes. it can cost upwards of many thousands of dollars depending on the level of abuse. it varies. many VOs will refuse to kill a monkey so that they can make several lower cost videos of abuse over a longer time, rather than one expensive video of them killing the monkey. the prices are such that usually several degenerate freaks pitch in to pay the commission price, because it'd be very heavy on the pockets of one person alone

anyway the point is, that in southeast asia, it's literally possible to make enough money from this to do it as a fulltime job.
