They finally ended up donating their supply of yarn to the native americans on the rez last Christmas. I would say they did it so they could claim it as a tax write-off, but in order for a tax deduction to work you need to have some actual income to apply it against. So that's fruitless since their primary source of income is GoFundMe (which has slowed to a trickle now). I also have my doubts as to whether these idiots have even filed taxes in the last couple years.

I don't recall them having a shearing this year either. The previous summer it was a big event, where they invited other useless trannies to a "shearing party" -- they rented a tent and everything. And hired a pro shearer to do the heavy lifting. It appeared that they spent more on tent rental, food and beverages than they would ever realize in profit from the fleece. Because Phil is a financial genius, and knows you have to spend money to, uhhhh, spend money.

They've spent most of this year running around their wasteland, wearing their animal jammies, and shooting randomly like a bunch of downies playing cops and robbers, when they should have been caring for their livestock.

I had a thought the other day about their "regenerative agriculture" plans, but like, for real. Obviously the main thing you need to stop the sandstorms is to stop grazing, distribute the manure and restore the cover grass. If this were a better location I would think to install trees or hedges around the perimeter as a windbreak, but I'm guessing there's not enough water to support that?

I think that ship has sailed over the horizon and sunk. At this stage the tranch would need some well-constructed windproof fencing just to keep some of the remaining topsoil.

The cheap Chinese generator pile. Because ordering new ones on Amazon is easier then maintaining them. Or just getting a legit genset.
On and on. Posting photo's online larping as X is always easier then actually doing X.

The TUR is trying to become a profitable non-profit and they need the Alpacas for optics, otherwise, it's just some trannies living truly unfortunate lives in a hovel. It doesn't sell as well as an animal shelter does. There's little to attract an audience or keep an audience interested. Without Alpacas, there's less appeal to attract griftbux.

The Alpacas are a sensation and attention magnet.

As @Tiggletown noted, it won’t even be in the single degrees at night (that’s pretty normal and would not be cause for alarm). A lot of the state is looking at -30 to -50 wind chills in freedom degrees. For those unaware, -40 in freedom and -40 in gay homo Celsius are the same.

This is a legitimately dangerous situation for them if heating is already a concern. I hope they are still having fun LARPing as Eunuch ranchers.

You're totally right, but when I checked the Westcliffe forecast the other day it didn't look like the cold front was going to hit as bad there. Single degrees fahrenheit would be fairly normal but I think that if it stayed that (relatively) warm the tranchers might be facing an unpleasant time with the small propane tank, was all.

Also, poor alpacas no matter what.
