Well, let's assume, just for the sake of argument, Nick actually has Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

If you consult the medical literature on it, it's not curable. You can't fix it with medication like you can Bipolar or Schizophrenia. Therapy can help, but he'd have to be convinced to go into therapy. Be convinced that his behavior is presenting a problem.

I'll confess, it's an interesting theory. Especially when you factor in the fact he's been blaming the Farms for pointing out the disconnect between past actions and to those he's exhibiting now (his claim they we're misrepresenting his spiel against the Toyes and Holmbergs is utterly insane). There's also his extremely well documented hostility towards pretty much all authority, and his penchant for losing his cool.
