This. As it easy as it is to get all reactionary about AM's apparent popularity, we should remember who likes it and why. Most of the "fans" are Tumblr trannies absolutely starved for any sort of representation in media. So a webcomic exclusively about transissue lectures will draw them in.
The people inviting Billie to give lectures are all fringe loonies in Canada and Europe. They aren't mainstream, even among their LGBT circles. Just unfortunately, due to a variety of factors, some of them are in a position to let Billie come in and brainwash children.
