CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Is it getting worse? Had no issue getting on the other day from more normal USA VPN locations, today had to switch to EU to get on.

I wonder if tagging Elon on twitter would help me connect to the farms through Starlink.

Also on the thread topic of Centurylink I used to live in their service area and my only complaint then was how often their service randomly dropped. I considered them the lesser of two evils as the only other option I had was a nightmare cable provider that would cut off people after only one copyright letter from torrenting.

I have a little bit of good news: Our connectivity has risen by one, to 21 of 45 nodes.

The ISP Shaw from Canada, Vancouver is working again.
It was down earlier.

No issues at all through Charter. No VPN on normal browser. Did have issues earlier around 6 am and had to use Tor to access. Now it's good. Hopefully that's a trend and not an outlier. God Sneed bruddas and sistas
Knowing people who work in network operations at ISPs, I know they are at least as angry and stressed as Josh is about this.

You can bet your ass there's a bunch of tech people pulling out all the stops and trying every trick in the book to get connectivity to KF, especially at smaller ISPs, once they get notified about this.

I always use KF on my phone’s browser with a VPN connected to a US server. When connected to said server I get an error screen but it works completely fine on a Netherlands server (which is what I’m on right now).

EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention I only started getting these clearnet problems today.

Imagine having to set a VPN for IRAN of all countries to access a US site with US legal content.
I feel like sites that host actual terrorist content don't even experience this level of fuckery
Reminder: the troons are doing this because they don't want their degenerate antics available for the common man to see them for the sickening monsters they truly are.

Yeah, Telegram chat won't open for me anymore either. Only thing that works is tor.

So uhh, today my home ISP, Orange Polska S.A. has stopped resolving the path to kiwifarms.net, according to tracert it fails on their very first node and after that it's all timeouts.

The most probable reason is their upstream. Orange Polska S.A. AS number is 5617, and their upstream is Arelion, which as of now seems to be only peered with Zayo, and also Orange S.A. which isn't even peered with 1776 in any way, and I think Orange S.A. upstream always dependent on a 3rd party.

My mobile net ISP is P4 s.p. z.o.o. with their AS number being 39603 and they peer with Arelion, Cogent and by extension Lumen, and I seem to be able to access KF through that just fine.

I'm not sure if it's worth contacting Orange to try and contact a network engineer to explain the situation tbh

Yoooo, I don't know what happened, but after calling my isp, I can now access the website.
Here's the last few hops on my trace before:
7 39 ms 39 ms 39 ms lag-808.bbr01atlnga.netops.charter.com [96.34.0.164]
8 35 ms 35 ms 39 ms lag-801.prr01atlnga.netops.charter.com [96.34.3.35]
9 * atl-b24-link.ip.twelve99.net [62.115.179.146] reports: Destination net unreachable.

Trace complete.

Here it is after.
9 75 ms 74 ms 72 ms lag-807.bbr02snjsca.netops.charter.com [96.34.0.176]
10 106 ms 111 ms 111 ms lag-805.bbr02sttlwa.netops.charter.com [96.34.0.199]

13 * * * Request timed out.
14 199 ms 202 ms 195 ms 103.114.191.1
Trace complete.

Oddly enough, I ran the trace multiple times and hops 2 and 13 always time out.
Either way, I'm glad something is happening, and I hope Liz Dong Long Gone gets kicked right in their non-existent dick for Christmas.

i'd like to bring attention to this post from the beginning of the thread:

the article in the link includes a map that explains some of this. lumen technologies sold more than half of their u.s. assets. what they retained (in the blue) is still centurylink. what they sold (in the orange) is now apollo. in other words, if you live in an orange state, you are no longer a centurylink customer, so no issues. and if you live in a grey state, centurylink is not an isp for your service, so no issues for you either.

Ah, so what you're saying is it's time to go Defcon 5 on the troons and enter a full retard war? If I can't use this forum, I'll happily spend the time I would've spend browsing complaining to every cucked ISP. If I'm going to be made miserable and be forced to use TOR, I can at least make these ISPs miserable too.

Always complain my dude. Your home ISP can open up a ticket with Arelion and pressure them professionally. (My ISP uses CenturyLink as an upstream and they currently have a ticket open). It's easy for them to dismiss a random retard calling them. Harder to dismiss a business partner.

Don't let a fucking tranny buckbreak you.

Yeah, there are sites with actual child pornography, literal child grooming, terrorist activity and all kinds of illegal activity available on the clearnet. In addition to plain old "bullet proof hosting" companies used for spam etc.

They never see attacks like this, because it's the kind of stuff you just don't do.

Clearnet just started working for me slower than tor though. A couple hours ago it was not.
I don't know enough network stuff to know how they do it, but the network engineers on duty at your ISP probably found a workaround to route traffic to Terrahost.

You can see the route changes animated here (turn up the animation speed at the bottom), but I'm too dumb to understand exactly what is happening: https://bgplay.massimocandela.com/?resource=103.114.191.1

Arelion was the last tier 1 to provide global connectivity to KF, so now only ISPs peering with Altibox (in Norway) or Terrahost have routes (and I think Sprint?).

In addition some ISPs seem to have figured out a way to work around it.

Baste. I called mine and they basically just said "fuck you and your tranphobic site" and let me go.
Call them again and ask to speak to their NOC, maybe they'll let you through and you can talk to the engineers actually responsible for fixing this.

Absolutely do, and deliver it in a tone as a scorned customer would.
Make it clear they are not the fucking police, or a lawmaker, or defenders of national security, and that they should do their fucking job instead.
