There's a name for this particular fetish: HuCow (a portmanteau of “human” and “cow”). And even though it seems super specific, it's probably more popular than you think. While we don't have concrete data on the number of people who partake in HuCow play, we do know there's HuCow porn for viewers of all different sexual orientations, partnered and solo HuCow porn, and even animated Hucow porn. The HentaiHuCow subreddit (NSFW), created in April 2018, currently has 36,500 members.
Why is the HuCow fetish such a turn-on for some people?
While seemingly niche, the HuCow fetish incorporates various kinks and sexual dynamics, which explains why so many folks are into watching and partaking in it. Justin Lehmiller, Ph.D., a research fellow at the Kinsey Institute and member of the Men’s Health advisory board, has found that queer men might be especially drawn to HuCow play. “In my research, I find that gay and bisexual men have higher rates of fantasies about physical transformation in general than their cisgender/heterosexual counterparts,” he says.There could be many reasons for this; one is that sexual minority men tend to be kinkier in general than heterosexual guys, Lehmiller notes. But given that HuCow fantasies are often about BDSM and fetishization at their core, “It’s not surprising that a population that leans kinkier might be into this,” he says.
So, why are people into HuCows, exactly?
Objectification
Consensual objectification has to be one of the largest, if not the largest, appeal of watching or engaging in HuCow play. Submissives may enjoy being a HuCow because they can willingly give up control of their body; they're a service animal with a specific role to fill. “You’re inherently submissive as a HuCow, unlike in other forms of lactation fetish, wherein a Dom 'forces' the sub to suck on their nipples, milk their penis, etc.,” Engle says. “It’s a chance to give up control, give yourself over, and fulfill a specific need without having to overthink."If you are the dominant partner, you get to have power over the HuCow.
