It would be barebones honestly. The biggest thing that most people here would know him for is probably Oneyplays and everything related to that, and the biggest part of that would be the Dream Daddy / Game Grumps. Most of it would be about getting outted because of crazy dipshit online teenagers.

I don't think there's much other than that in his OneyPlays period that's lolcow worthy. I don't know if there's anything during The Best Gamers since I never watched them.

There was stuff he mentioned on stream but because he doesn't give specific names or details it's just vague nonsense. His evil homophobic mother, having rape trauma as a kid, an online stalker, a suicide attempt.

Shout out to my previous post because he did a similar thing when Julian woke up near the end of the stream. DD's immediate reaction, instead of logging off and going to hang out with a loved one who actually loves him, is to go "hey come validate me by laughing at these 4channers whose bait I totally don't keep falling for and am definitely not mad at".

Saddest part by far was Julian going to bed and DD going "but I want to be with you". Then turn off the stream and go be with your BF, you fucking ape? Instead he spent another 3 hours doing the above.

He seems to have manic phases, so on some level I don't wonder if he wouldn't benefit from anti-anxiety medication (weaker than antidepressants, say) because he seems to be mostly fine and then has the spirals. It's obviously no use to armchair psych, though I do hope he's at least somewhat looked into getting a shrink. There's always a strange pride thing against that, and of course people will point to the (numerous) poor examples of them, but at times mental tangles do require extrinsic interaction to unwind.

Something to keep in mind is that while it's admirable to not want to pull a Spoony with patreon money, if you drive yourself utterly insane and run into constant production issues because your sleep and health have been shot to shit by a restless, obsessive mind - you're gonna end up with a Spoony situation anyways.

Does he even stream enough for this excuse to make any sense?
I avoid twitch like the plague but I do watch his streams when I see them shared on twitter and it really doesn't seem to make any sense from how often that is.
I also doubt he'll stick to his word on quitting streaming. Wasn't he quitting twitter a few months ago? I know he isn't like a lot of people who tweet a thousand times an hour but tweeting snarky comments about current thing is still using twitter even if it's only every few days and retweeting indie game devs still implies that you are actively browsing twitter even if you aren't talking about it as much.

Agree on the manic phases. Even when he seems to be in a more positive mood his behavior and reactions feel very extreme or unwarranted.
I think I first noticed him being like that after DD&J came back from their first break from Oney Plays, maybe during the Kingdom Hearts 2 playthrough which seemed very different to the more deadpan/low energy DD even just a few months earlier.

Hopefully he can figure his shit out. Him and Julian were great on Oney Plays and his streams can be very entertaining or interesting especially when he just shows off his pretty expansive game knowledge.

The Halloween stream was going to be the big huge conclusion of his streams and he said various times during the post-stream chat for people not to expect any more streams and that he would be closing up shop in terms of being active with the DDVG identity (outside of Patreon and gamedev.) I expected his Twitter to be gone the next morning but outside of the usual deleting some tweets (mostly just announcements re the stream) it was still there. He didn't use it for a while at least.

Then a few days ago he was streaming Pop'n Music. I was working so didn't listen to much of it, but apparently he went into details regarding his homophobic/abusive/etc mother who was a piece of shit since he was a kid.

And then during the 13 hour stream yesterday (at least, during hour 9 or so when I tuned in) he was saying that this stream was going to be the definite end and that it was going on so long because he wanted to leave it as a definitive VOD for context regarding all the different incidents and everything that has been going on for the last 6-7 years (so people can't be misinformed by any TL;DRs or summaries they see on Reddit, Twitter, 4chan, KF, etc.) Despite this, the VOD isn't up and much of the stream was full of vague explanations.

A lot of it focused on a persistent stalker (or two?) who apparently joins their streams a lot, makes 4chan threads on them, and tried reaching out to them through Julian's unused facebook profile. Then he was laughing at a different persistent troll stalker whatever you want to call it who had made a thread on /v/ while the stream was ongoing, joined the stream chat, got banned, made a new Twitch account and got auto-banned since it was new. There was a /trash/ thread which is still up right now, and the /v/ thread was followed by 2 more which were very active.

He kept doing this "come on, come and chat 4channers, don't be scared, don't be pussies, why are you staying anonymous and making fun of me on your thread? are you cowards? you no life incels. you're pathetic. new /v/ is so pathetic i'm laughing so hard. you guys got so baited by me. you guys got so mad and i trolled you so hard that you had to go back to your little thread and cry about me in there" kind of act which was actually more painful to listen to than hearing him talk about having rape trauma as a kid and how his mom continues to gaslight him about it and life in general.

i think he said some variation of "that really sucks" like, 24 times in the past 6 minutes. he sounds like a bad avgn copy, like a more kid friendly one? he also is laughing at odd times. iunno, I don't want to say he's manic or anything, just that, I've only seen him on oneyplays and hearing him here is very weird.

I second this. He's mostly just an unfortunate guy and the only thing potentially coming out of him is just more opinions and anecdotes of that whole LA letsplayer clique. He had his already shitty personal life further trashed because of autists on r/rantgrumps and the only two possible outcomes from here is he keeps on lingering on 2016/2017 or he somehow does a 180 on his attitude whether or not that's online.
