“After several days of tests, I have been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, which is a serious but curable form of cancer. I am about to embark on a course of chemo-immunotherapy on an outpatient basis at Med Star Georgetown University Hospital and Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Prognosis for most people in my situation is excellent after four months of treatment."

*I expect to be able to work through this period but have been cautioned by my doctors to reduce unnecessary exposure to avoid COVID-19, the flu and other viruses. In addition to destroying cancer cells, chemotherapy impairs natural antibodies and undermines the body’s immune system. I am advised that it also causes hair loss and weight gain (although 1 am still holding out hope for the kind that causes hair gain and weight loss).

*With the benefit of early detection and fine doctors, the help of my extraordinary staff, the love of Sarah and our daughters and sons-in-law (actual and to-be) and family and friends, and the support of my beloved constituents and my colleagues in the House, I plan to get through this and, in the meantime, to keep making progress every day in Congress for American democracy.

He's got as better chance of surviving than most. He has access to the best medical care on the planet and he probably gets a yearly executive physical which goes well beyond a routine medical exam. Most of these roaches want to live to be 150 because dying means they have to cede power, which for them, is a fate worse than death.

He knew what side his bread was buttered on. The media talked about him in the same breathless way they used to talk about Bob Packwood. I expect that was not-too-subtle encouragement to keep McCain voting the right way -- lest his dirty laundry get aired.

Trump would threaten thinking people working for him would be on his side but then too late it was apparent they were just going to do nothing, and that's why they were scared of a second term where there's no consequences to things.

Its been said before, but Trump's biggest failing was his naivete, misunderestimating just how deep the swamp is

El Naranja fully believed iñ the people he scooped up, couldnt fathom the idea that any of em could have any swamp roots just because they claimed to be on the same side

I can see why they are afraid of him getting a second term, Orange mighr have learned from his mistakes, but the way things are going, and i hate to sound like this, i dont see a second Trump term happening

In his defense, I don't think anyone expected it to go that deep.

They went full masks-off to hamstring Trump. They will NOT let him win again in my opinion. They don't dare. He's just chaotic enough that he might yank the right lever and bring a chunk of the edifice crashing down.

tbf, no one thought Biden would win 2020 either, and crazier things have happened. Plus, people are pissed now that they see the Uniparty RINOs for who they truly are. Bring out the rainbows, but I'm not counting old Orange Man out just yet. Now, if DeSantis gets astroturfed even harder than he already is, then we can start to worry, but until then, things are still up in the air. Honestly, (huge rainbows), an even better 2024 scenario would be Kanye somehow winning. THAT would be a seismic change-up and Peak Clown World.

I still maintain Biden didn't "win" 2020, but it's equally true that no one thought the left would snap to the point that they'd openly rig a national election -- and get away with it.

I'd like to see Orange Manbad win a third time just to force the fuckers to rig it again to keep him out, but it's looking like the TDS types are going to make a play to slot in DeSantis instead. We'll see how it goes. The Uniparty RINOs have definitely shown their true colors, including the fucking Turtle, who I maintain sabotaged most of Trump's first term to try and keep the status quo (and the grift) going. He definitely fucked things up in 2020.

Can't wait until the boomers all age out of positions of power. Shit will hit the fan pretty damned hard I wager.

As one of the legit old farts here, I can say that more has happened since the rollout of the coof and today than happened between the collapse of the Soviet Union and 9/11.

The biggest news was the president getting a blowjob. A nice quiet before the storm, the 90s were.

I cannot stress enough how great the nineties were. My sorrow is that today’s younger people didn’t get to experience it.

I hope the Kali Yuga here doesn’t run on too long so you youngsters can experience something similar in your lifetimes.

Not one 'Nam vet I know had an ounce of respect for that showboating credit-stealing Daddy's boy fuck-up. Gramps red-pilled me on the truth about him long before most people whispered it online.

He also had quite a bit of dirt on other pols who were vets. But he also defends Westmoreland to this very day, so I take it with a heap of salt.
