Quite honestly, in most of these instances I doubt that at home surgery or anything resembling it actually happened. It's yet another lie that troons tell to legitimize their ideological claims.

I wholeheartedly agree (as usual). I've spent enough time on the weird parts of the internet to have seen one or two instances of men with such an ingrained perversion that they end up doing some psychotic at-home dismemberment/castration (usually with the involvement of a sick fuck sex partner, if it was not done by force entirely with victim making post-hoc rationalizations)... So while I can always imagine there being the occasional extreme nutcase who might actually do something like this, perhaps even with some gender dysphoria/AGP or similar as a confounding factor, I am pretty comfortable dismissing this as bullshit, manipulation, and attention seeking in 99% of cases. I would unfortunately not be surprised if we see a few more cases of deeply disturbed individuals actually doing it now that trannies making this claim disingenuously all over the place gave them the fucking idea, but most of them would've still been the genetic mistakes who shove pins in their taint, amputate a limb and eat it, hook jumper cables to their balls, or something similar if never exposed to troonshit.

I'm far from an expert on current troon literature, but I'd expect to have seen at least a single digit number of cases in the literature of troons or children proto-troons unequivocally inflicting traumatic injury on their own genitals, or the accounts of SRS surgeons trying to perform a cleanup/salvage operation on these people, but I can't recall having ever seen that. And I'm not counting the bog standard "X % of trannies report having seriously considered/report a history of threatening to do it" as actual occurrences for obvious reasons. Seems like with the prevalence of threats that if they couldn't convince a butcher to fast track them or insurance to fund SRS that straight up inflicting traumatic injury would happen all the time? They'd be instantly rushed in to a trauma surgeon who couldn't refuse them and presumably set up with some kind of legitimate reconstructive plastic surgeon to do cleanup, with no issue about insurance coverage, yeah? Maybe because even the most retarded crayon-eating therapist might think twice about affirming their decision to do this as valid and legitimate? It's not like getting a friend to unload a shotgun blast into your junk at point blank range would be that much more painful or aesthetically displeasing than the average SRS butcher job. It's almost like troon lies about the reality of SRS and unethical quacks being very free with oxy prescriptions helps sell the idea. Funny how that works.
