It's possible that he has viewers who turn in for his trial coverage but not his random topic streams who don't know about the current drama, but with his policy of reading every superchat, even if he did want to cater to two different audiences, superchatters are going to broach the subject. I don't think the general populace is as willing to handwave both his degeneracy and his hypocrisy as Nick is.
